When did I say I was done with MK? If your ass had read my origial post in the other thread you'd seen me saying that I still have hopes that the MK game after MK VS DCU will be relevant to the franchise and live up to what we wanted MK:8 to be. I'm not done with anything, nor did I ever say I was.

Whether I buy it or not is none of your concern, and I can't tell you whether I'll buy it or not buy it by the time it comes out. I don't say things without being sure of them, unlike you. I've mentioned in my other post that if the gameplay in this game is excellent, I'll most likely play it at some point, whether a rent or not is something in the future. As of right now, I stand by everything I said and think it all comes together to form a very valid point, which is something you have a problem accepting. I dont think MK needed DC to be great though, that feels weak. And we *were* promised many things that, by the looks of it, wont be delivered because of the crossover (story, fatalities, darker mk, essence, etc.), and thats a shame.

I just hope this game is really fun and awesome and that it looks more shocking then the trailer, which was pretty, but too much like MKDA-MKA.

If it's big or not, what do you get from it? Are you making any money from the selling of MK vs DC? I don't think so. It's not about making it more popular or bigger, who cares besides Midway? I don't wanna play a commercial game, with a screwed up storyline, with Batman in it. I wanna play Mortal Kombat, genuine Mortal Kombat, with a bunch of blood and gore.

I've never said I think this is a good idea for the MK Story, but it is a good idea for Boon and MK to get a new crop of fans.

I'm not looking forward to this at ALL, I'm looking forward to MK9, I'm hoping that MK9 will be amazing, but there is a good chance that it will be fucked up as well.
