During Fight Night, Boon said there aren't any unlockable playable characters but there is a TON of hidden features/modes. There were a couple times they refered to a second krypt which would explain the usage of the word TON. They also said something about someone's pic appearing twice in the "a krypt," since no one elses pic was put in there twice. The whole "a krypt" reference could have been a type-o but you never know; there could be another krypt. Once Fight Night concluded, one person even said unlock the hidden krypt(something along those lines). I know this is just a theory since no questions were answered. I still find it amuzing how they answered nothing at all; got to love them for driving us crazy.
