a strange dream about MKD

posted09/26/2004 03:08 PM (UTC)byfor the first time ever I had an MKD dream, and I didn't think I was that obsessed, but I guess with the days drawing ever closer and with Fable now behind me, I'm pretty excited.
Anyway, what happend was I was playing as Shinnok, oddly enough and fighting Sub Zero. I beat up Sub Zero and performed a fatality (he pulled out a straight blade and decapitated him).
After that for whatever reason I seemed to be controling Sub Zero and he seemed to be in his winning pose (just one of those weird dream things I guess).
At any rate Shinnok was on the ground dead, and it switched to an FMV scene with Subby looking down on the fallen Shinnok. behind him though down a dark tunnel you could see a mist coming out of the doorway. Slowly a blue glow radiated from it and you could see a familiar sihlouette in the distance.
The camera now zoomed in on the first Sub Zero from MK1 and he blabbed on about framing the current Sub Zero this whole time. The two ninjas advanced towards each other at an increasing pace as they got closer, and when they got about 5 feet away from each other the fight began against the old and new Sub Zero.
I beat him and tried to do a fatality on him, but I couldn't get it (lol). Anyhow after that I advanced on to Noob Smoke and woke up. When attacking Noob Smoke if they were switching, they couldn't be hurt... I hope that doesn't happen, hehe.
Anyway, I just thought it would be neat to see the old Sub come back as the new Sub's enemy, even if they were brothers. I know people would be like "Pallete swap it's like the same character!!!". That is true, but maybe he wouldn't be playable. Perhaps just for story line purposes, characters should have a sub boss that is unique to their story (not necisarily unique to their character, ie two characters could have the same sub boss if their story is somehow linked).

Cool! I had a dream several months ago that I was playing as Nightwolf vs. Baraka - and my room was on fire the whole time. Wow - guess it takes more than that to get me away from this game

Well it was a dream about MKD because I sai dit was, and usually the person who dreams something would be considered the interpreter of what it means.
Plus, (I left this part out) when I was trying to do Sub's fatality, I remember actually looking in the MKD strategy guide to figure out the finisher.
Also I want really badly to see Shinnok in the game, so that reflects my desire for that.

Actually no, ur wrong. Its usually an EXPERT on these matters that can fully interpret the meanin of ur dreams, so ur wrong, but no-ones perfect.
Anyway carry on chattin about your "MKD Dream"

| VeinZ Wrote: yes, you're right if you were to actually take it to the expert. But not many people do, so usually it is the dreamer who interprets the dream. Whether it is done properly or not. |
r u going to talk about your MKD dream, or dreams in general? Cos id hate for a mod to tell you this is in the wrong forum
