I wish a developer of MK:Deception would come by and post in these forums because I really would like to know how Darrius was created.

I think that he was created by the ideas of the Matrix movies. Darrius looks like a younger version of Morpheus from the films. I feel like the development team is taking this new game old school with the these ideas.

Some of the new characters are created by the developers inspiration from some movies that are probably their favorites or what they think is cool. Johnny Cage was inspired by Jean Claude Van Damn as Liu Kang was inspired by Bruce Lee. Shang Tsung was inspired by some movie that had an evil old man in it, I remember people on this forum were saying it.

If that is the case, what would you think of Darrius if he really was taken from a movie? Would you think of this character the same? Or would you think of this character differently?
