a way to unlock the real secert character?

know i am not talkling about the character that are on the screen but blacked out, like kira, kabal, noob, ect. i am talking about the secert character we don't know about until we don't no about until we find them.

my idea is going back to old school fighting game roots where you had to beat the game with a certain amount of poeple to get a secert character

my idea is that to unlock the secert characters, you must beat arcade mode with a certain group of
fighters.
ex. say if sektor was a secert character, then you must beat story mode with the following characters-smoke, subzero, raidan, and liu kang

what happens is those characters ending will some how link together and in their story sektor will be introduced and playable.

a cool thing i thought would be after you unlock the secert character those charactcers you nedd to unlock him, thier ending will become altered due to their arrival and storyline.

what do you think?

It's a really great idea but the story changing after unlocking a character won't be easy.

i like to think as an alternate ending like in a movie. the ending that is there when you beat the game before the character is found, is thr canon end, the real deal. the other would be the what ilf ending.

but granted it will be hard for Boon to pull off

Interesting and good idea, dude! It would be hard to pull off because of the change in endings. However it could be made easier if you had to beat the game with the foes of that character. In Sektors case you'd beat the game with Sub-Zero. Or in Shang Tsungs case you'd beat the game with Kenshi, Kung Lao and Liu Kang.

I'd think of it like this:

To unlock Mavado:

Fight as Kabal against Kira at the Red Dragon Temple. Win a flawless victory in both fights. Put in the code for you're fatality. Instead of the fatality happening, a knife will be thrown by someone and it will kill Kira. Mavado will appear and you have to fight him. Defeat him and do you're fatality. You unlocked Mavado.

that kind of how i was thinking of it, like to unlock a good guy, you must beat the game with all of his enemies.

i like the idea of kira being linked to mavado, that would be cool but i would tone down the diffcultly of it, instead of having to get 2 flawless victories and fatality, i would place a flachying icon that would randomly teleport through the match, it will settle in it final place at the end of the match, then all you have to do is knock kira in to the icon whatever it may be, it makes a cutscene in whitch you fight mavado.

work for all secert character

nice idea... hmm. sounds like tekkens style.. except for tekken 4 isn't it since that one was random... but yeah very nice.. but then there won't be enough replay value to go twords the coffins... hmm... then again they can put more costumes in there... allwell..

i thought the krypt was going to be for concept art and images, maybe some movies. all alternates costumes and character would be in konquest

Awsome idea.
The same sholud go for Kano if he's in. Except that he saves Kira from any fatality.
