Actually, the medallion is on his sash on the second costume.

Also, the team implemented his facial scar on his model. That was confirmed by the british magazine, according to DArqueBishop.

Maybe Sub Zero (5th) didn't actually die or almost died, that's maybe why he doesn't have pupils. Also there is no scar. And as for the amulet, Sub Zero (5th) could have stolen it from his brother to take control of the Lin Kuei.

And I've been saying this from the very start, too! Before they even added the scar for MKD! I think this thread should be closed! The final nail in the original Sub-Zero's coffin's been nailed already, so just get over it!

Anyways as it has been mentioned the medallion powers surpasses sub zeros control, he has yet to fully understand the medallions power, that's why it's power is consuming his youth, good thread. Cheers.

I was just curious, but does anyone know how the first Sub-Zero died. Because I remember that Scorpion thought that he was dead because of the Appearences made by his younger brother. And Scorpion should know who dies because he is from hell and the First Sub-Zero was evil so he should of went to hell. there was no mention of Scorpion meeting the first Sub-Zero in hell.

Another thing to add. When Johnny Cage died, they told exactly how he died by Shao Khans death squads. But I don't recall any explaination on Sub-Zero's death.

Scorpion's the murderer. He got vengeance for his own death. Scorps' MK2 and UMK3 endings, Sub-Zero's MKDA Konquest Mode story, and the official MK2 Komic are all proof of it.

The question is Why is Scorpion still here, unless Sub-Zero is still Alive for the death of Scorpion's clan. So most likely Scorpion is trying to kill The first Sub-Zero.

He only avenged his own death, not the death of his clan and family! Now if you haven't read the MK2 Komic (I've seen scans on the Internet, trust me!), take the time to search the net for the official MK2 Komic. In there, Raiden, himself, confirms it when he saves Johnny Cage after the Pit crumbles and Kano, Sonya, and Goro fall. Now why do you think Raiden would tell a lie? Let's face it; we all know he is the complete opposite of Shang Tsung in every way, and it's quite obvious that Shang Tsung is a liar!

Raiden, once again, was the sole witness of Sub-Zero's death, and Raiden mentioned that Scorpion was the one who finished off the original Sub-Zero. And since we all know that Raiden does not lie, that, along with him being at the sight of the battle, proves that Scorpion killed Sub-Zero in MK1.

Here is another theory, if Johnny Cage came back to life. Then why not Sub-Zero. There are many gods that could reserect Sub-Zero then just Raiden.

True, but remember, Elder Sub-Zero was a professional assassin. Cage was not. Most likely, his crimes against humanity in the name of the (once) corrupt Lin Kuei were enough to send him to the Netherealm, like Scorpion was. Raiden was able to restore Cage's soul because he went to Heaven when he died, but since Elder Subby's soul went 'out of Raiden's jurisdiction', so to speak, the Thunder God couldn't do anything for him. Hence, if we do see Elder Subby in the game, it'll probably be during Konquest Mode, where I know I read somewhere that exploring the Netherealm is confirmed.

This brings up another interesting fact: If both Elder Subby and Scorpion were both sent to the Netherealm after they died, why didn't the two meet and sort things out before the second tournament? Did Shinnok and Quan Chi keep the two separated and oblivious to each other's prescence in the Netherealm to perpetuate their deception of them?
