Well thanks to scorp748 I have now acquired the New UK Xbox Magazine which has a 6 page preview of MK:Deception.

Here are the details :
Front cover has Scorpion and his Flaming Sword Render.

Only 3 new screenshots which are Nighwolf doing his Tomahawk Uppercut on Baraka, Mileena and Sub Zero on the Neatherbelly Stage with Mileena hiding behind a corpse And Scorpion slashing Baraka with his Sword.

NOTE: Scorpion's costume looks like his Outfit from Mortal Kombat 1.

The Boon Interview is the same as the Play UK Interview Word for Word even down to the Baraka Fatality Description.

No new info on Puzzle Kombat, Chess or Konquest.

The Text and there Information :
"One fatality for example, Sees Scorpion ripping the arms off his wavering enemy and beating them to death with the wet bloody ends"

"There is talk of the odd babality/friendship finishing move as well, but expect these to be limited to one or two characters only, IF they appear at all."

"There are 17 environments in total and all feature some kind of negative and positive attribute that can be used by your character whether its weapons, death-traps or whatever."

"A factor that helps immensely is the large number of characters on offer. There are 24 in total. This includes six from Deadly Alliance, Six Classic, Six Regulars and Six Newbies. Names spotted so far are Ermac, Scorpion, Kenshi, Sindel, Sub Zero, Baraka, Noob Saibot, Tanya, Nightwolf, Reptile, Raiden and the game boss, The Dragon King."

Six regulars? WTF does that mean?

Possibly characters that are regularly in MK games, like Scorp, Subby and Raiden? If so, this dramatically switches up the theoretical character lists.

Raiden and Reptile are mentioned in the mag but in NO way are they mentioned in the interview.

I would still take that info regarding reptile and Raiden as speculation at this time being, Even Smoke, Kabal and Li Mei are not mentioned but we know they are in the game.

What dose this mean?
There are 24 in total. This includes six from Deadly Alliance, Six Classic, Six Regulars and Six Newbies.

Did they get rid of some of the classics and 2 of the new guys???

Maybe they mean Reptile as the Dragon King (and thus not playable?) Raiden also seems an odd choice, especially given rampant rumors that he was killed. (not that I'm complaining, mind you.)

Also, the 6 MKDA, 6 Regulars, 6 Classic and 6 new thing doesn't seem to work given characters that were previously partially or entirely confirmed. We've got 11 characters that can fit into the returning Classics category -- of those I guess it's possible to move Sektor to MKDA (due to TE) and Liu Kang to "Regulars"... this leaves us with Ermac, Noob, Nightwolf, Baraka, Mileena, Sindel, Smoke, Tanya and Kabal. Eight pretty much confirmed characters but only six slots.

Either the numbers are wrong or the MK team has changed up the characters...

It's either his MK1 outfit or UMK3, the angle of the pic is ski wiff but its certainly not is MKDA outfit.

"The series started to get a little "out there" when Babalities and Animalities were introduced. Will we see anything like this in Deception?

John Podlasek: Nope. Although our game and the series in general have always had a sense of humor, we have no plans to bring those back. In terms of humorous content, the Konquest mode has some funny stuff in it already"

Am I the only one who didn't mind friendships that much? I just never liked brutalities and babalities because they just got so repetitive..as for animalities, the MK3 ones sucked beacuse of those stupid neon colors, but the ones in Trilogy (not use about Umk3) were alright because they had normal colors. My favorite one is Reptile's from Trilogy when he turns into a chimp...c'mon, you gotta admit that cracked you up, because I fell off my bed laughing when I first saw it...

I loved Raiden's Kid Thunder friendship. I used to play as him solely to do that. Sad, yes, but it still gives me warm fuzzy memories to this day. *g*

OK, before you guys get all hyped and start typing up your 24 total character lists and trying to figure out who's in and not, the UK magazines keep sending out false information, the only thing I would judge being true is scorpion's rip off the arms fatality since I have heard this from many other sources. Only, I didn't expect that to be his fatality ;) And, his MK1 costume is most likely true, too.

But, as I have said several times before, there will probably be more than 24 characters people, and that is probably REALLY old information. Raiden is supposed to die (at least from the many different places I've heard that from) and NOBODY has mentioned reptile being playable but them? highly doubt it. And, Boon already said several times Babalities and Friendships have ZERO chance of returning.

I'm not trying to be lame, or claim I have inside information, all I'm saying is its most likely all crap. The UK magazines have been wrong about MOST of their info, so really, dont expect Raiden or Reptile back unless someone like game informer or EGM says so. And, don't expect friendships or babalities at all. Besides, who knows how old that information is? And from what I've personally heard, Kabal and Sektor have been in from the beginning, so expect them.

Kung Lao, Kitana (u have to unlock) and Reptile (u have to unlock)...lol?

Those are the only ones i can think of. I mean it makes sense that kung lao is in the game because of his ending in MKDA. The game will involve Kitana so she might as well be a secret character. And reptile is definately in the game, but the thing is.... is he playable?

Well, that stuff about the roster certainly sounds interesting. If there's something the roster lacks at this point, it's MKDA characters... Not that this is any kind of guarantee there'll be more of them than what's been announced so far, but it's interesting nonetheless.

As far as Scorpion's fatality goes, it sounds pretty cool I guess, but to me it doesn't feel like Scorpion at all. I guess this is the first time he's got a fatality not involving fire-breathing, weapons, or any kind of "magic" (like his MK4 "animality" for instance).

Well, I have listened to which it would be a "arms rip-off" Fatality of other fighters, 2 in concrete are the different names that I have been able to listen, and no of them is Scorpion.

I can't say the names so that I don't have permission, and is a spoiler that surely to more than one it would not like to know.
