Can someone here explain to me how Rayden and Tsung come back alive...
Is there something I missed.
Don't get me wrong, i love the game, the intro movie is awsome... but these return, a bit farfetch... no?

well Raiden never died in the battle and because he was defeated in Mortal Kombat he was send back to a other realm.
I think the Earthrealm.
Shang Tsung has died, he isn't alive........

Yes yes...
But i'm tlkingabout the intro video. Rayden wasn't sent to any place....
He dies, eyes goes off.... we guess his esence goes back to the heavens...
Tsung, well, blood from the ears is never a good thing.
and then comes back, both, to fight Onaga...
Weird, no?

The only explination is Raiden gets knocked unconscious or something along those lines. Tsung just gets wounded and is too weak to get up for a few seconds. But they don't die until the end.....or do they?

Raiden, for some odd reason, comes back to life, while Quan Chi disappears with him. I'd say Quan's not dead, but it's highly likely that Shang is dead (mainly because Liu Kang & Kenshi's bios say that he is)

I think Sindel_fan means how did Raiden come back after being smashed with Shang Tsung's fire snake thing and how did Shang Tsung come back after Quan Chi beat him.
To answer that, they didn't die. Raiden was only knocked out by the snake attack and Shang Tsung was choked out by Quan Chi, but neither were killed. And I think the blood was coming out of Tsung's mouth, not his ears. When Onaga busted in they woke up I guess.

no no, you've all got it wrong about Shang Tsung...
Raiden is a God, so he cannot die (unless made mortal)... it just takes time for his essence to return to his ethereal form
Tsung was killed by Quan Chi (the snapping of the neck and blood from the mouth are pretty good indications I would think), but if you noticed earlier in the video, Raiden had electrocuted Tsung and he was near death, when he summoned a soul from the Soulnado to heal himself... as long as the Soulnado was open, Shang is immortal. Quan Chi defeated him, but the arrival of the Dragon King prevented him from closing the gate to the Heavens.
