You're wrong on all levels. MKA didn't sell well because by this game the engine had, had it. Vash you and i have known each other since MKA was announced. You even said it you're self you were excited for it. Now you say no one wanted it. I recall you being hyped about it. If MK had stayed true to it's Kung Lao vs. ETC. It would of been alright. But boon sacrificed a lot of what made MK popular in the first place. To make something second rate.

I am an MK fan, and i turned into one 12 years ago, i hate this crossover bullshit nonsence, and it is not because i just want blood and gore out of MK, it is because it just doesn't feal right.

I can't understand why there are so many people saying they like this idea...

What i want of an MK game, is what it is supposed to give us:
a dark and serious game, with lots of charisma, direct simple and brutal fatalities (like the ones in MKD), the classic MK II / MKD dark aura and ambiences mixed with traits of asian misticism and traditions (like MK I, MK DA etc..) wich combine perfectly and totally give us the dark fantasy concept that MK is.

Mixing Mk with comic book characters.... God fucking damn' it, it's just not right.
I mean, i love DC comics, Batman is my favourite hero, but still.... MK is uniquely untouchable... too bad Midway decided to turn public their money thurst.

Actually, I feel you pegged me wrong. I still play my copy of MKA. I wanted it, but apparently others didn't. New copy was $20 within 2 months.

Yeah id rather have a real fuckin MK game but you have to face the fuckin facts that there will be DC characters in it so get used to it. Im trying. I hate every DC character except the Joker, so this game pretty much is the worst thing to happen to the series. So if you dont like the idea stop fuckin posting on here.

Honestly, I feel much of the same way and am tired of the cry babies, ungrateful, always disappointed so called MK fans.... So far from all sites I've been on, the reasons have been just a joke for hating on this game thus far. I remember in MKD, fans bitched about having every character in MKA...we got that and STILL certain fans bitched about costumes, about someones bio, about Khameleon. Have her in, don't have her in....really now. Most of the reasons for that game for hating it were nearly as ridiculous as hating this newer MK vs. DC game which mind you haters out there HASN'T EVEN COME OUT YET.

Let's see here...I've read the game will suck because "no more fatalities" OMG, so a finisher can't be brutal, nasty has to be "gory" well you know the funny thing is I remember when there were normal fatalities in MK:DA and MKD the fans STILL bitched about "them being not good enough" and make them better....Midway just can't win lol with certain fans and those are the fans that should just honestly retire as "MK fans" a fan has to be openminded to new ideas and I don't see that at all sadly with a lot of ignorant MK fans of late. Sorry, after being a veteran of MK since the beginning that's what I see.

Secondly, for the fans on here that hate the game already because of "the fatalitiy gig" let me ask you something, to a competitive player or huge follower of the overall series and overall game. I don't care about "just fataltities" there's MUCH more to the whole game then a mere fatality. Seriously, think for a second. Which would you rather have, a game that has great bloody, gorey fatalities with no storyline, no side games, no extra modes, no online play, average or poor gameplay(not improved at all)

I don't know about some of you guys but I'm taking the second one easily ANY DAY over the first.

I understand that MK was the fatality crave back in the early 90's way before majority of fans were even born on here if knew what MK was to begin with and that it started all the controversy but seriously now...for one, fatalities aren't NEARLY as popular, potent and attractive as they once were in the early MK games and in MK4.

I remember when MK:DA came out, fans bitched about not only some of the fatalities that "disappointed them" but they wanted TWO instead of one...so Midway said ok, we'll give ya two. We got two and a hara kiri and I'd say 50/50. Some fans loved it, others hated the fatalities and bitched about the fact that the Hara Kiri's take away from the winner...and that some fatalities were dumb and the older ones were better.

So, don't say this bs about Midway not given what the fans want because they have, the real truth is the fans are never satisfied....some fans expect perfection, well guess what you're not getting that because I know damn well those fans who bitch all the time and are never please can't make a better MK game for me to enjoy. If you think you can, by all means go for it and let me be the judge and let's see if you can out do anything Midway's put out thus far.

We saw the same in MKA, fans wanted "everyone" we got "everyone", shit even freaking khameleon and chameleon....

Point is this, to my fellow TRUE MK fans that are openminded to new ideas just ignore or forget the haters. Chances are they're ignorant kids that don't know anything about the series to begin with and what makes a game "whole" good and that is NOT someones costume or fatality.

To the logical, veteran MK fans that hate the idea, sorry to hear that but you have try to be openminded here....as veteran MK fans you should know not to judge the game before it's out. If you don't like it, go play old MK then.

And to the fellow MK fans on here that like the idea of having two great universes collide, I agree with you. I think there can be some interesting match ups and like I've said on other sides if SC can survive their previous game along with putting some weird crossover characters like Spawn and Link and survive, I think MK will too. Same for Marvel vs. Capcom...initially I remember when people HATED that idea, yet over time accepted it and liked it even. Even DOA4, having a female MC character looked weird at first but her fighting style was unique and played in well. And then there's of course SC 4 coming out with Vader and Yoda in it...with most likely little to no storyline explaining it given the fact that it's a SC game....


And let's not forget Solid Snake in SSBB, I rememeber when that was first announced fans were like WTF? Snake in a game against Pikachu, Mario and Yoshi, Kirby? lol yet ask those same fans now and they'll tell ya they were wrong about Snake fitting into SSBB...so it's not like "OMG, OMG" it's just MK trying something new with a crossover because other fighters have done it, and they all have survived thru it as will MK. So, by all means to the haters on here" judge a book by it's cover if you will"..it's the stupidest policy one can take. Later
