Im sure they will survive,i dunno why perhaps bcuz boon will keep names such as kung lao,sonya,cage,jax,kitana in the next project. But i doubt liu kang will survive.

they arent involved with each other in the games. only in the movies.

Hmm...I think she will if Cages got a good excuse:
1- He was possessed by some sort of evil that has tainted his soul because of Onagas resurrection.
2- The power of Blaze affected him in a different way, everyone got affected by it, and the way it affected him made him push Sonya.
3- He truly wanted her to live and, in order to save her, he decided to push her behind, hoping she could last enough to kick some ass below but not even encounter Blaze.
Whatever the reason is, he will still get bitch slap, and its really gonna hurt, poor Cage, I wouldn’t want to be in his position. If they live, I truly hope they get married or something, but she will make sure he pays first.

But based on Ermac MKD's ending,they were together under onaga's control & cleansed by kang. Im sure it wasnt a fluke,perhaps they have some connection that i dont know.

and then you people say that he is still possesed are what not, no we alreaddy have one nut case (Raiden) i dont think cage is going crazy/possesed, and if the MK team did have him still possesed then they are not to smart. i dont think that he is.
