First off, I would like to state that this thread has tie-ins with these threads:
Here and Here
In the new vid There is a shot of the krypt and one tomb being open revealing "Kira's Alternate Bio".
I'm just wondering if this is part of the deception. Everyone might have 2 completely different bios.
I noticed someone in one of the other threads say that it was just additional info, like it was in MK:DA, but the screen says alternate, meaning different.
*Edit: though the person saying it's just additional info could very well be correct.
Anyone else think it would be cool to find that someone we think is aligned with good, turns out to be a backstabber, or vice versa?

I bet the first info is the stuff we get from that IGN site where it's 3rd person and the alt is the 1st person stuff.

yeah, maybe the in i form are deceptions, and the telling form are the real bios

The only way I could see them being deceptions is if you get them in Konquest by talking to people. They tell you their story and if they decide to they lie to you, other than that I think they would be valid.

as with mkda, when you unlock the alternate outfit you get an extension to their bio. if you had 2 outfits in mkda then you had 2 bio pages. it is that simple.

That's fine if that's what you believe. But I also believe in opening things up to speculation.

well they had 2 bios on mkda, wouldn't be much of a suprise to me, + we have a pic to prove it

just because you believe that doesn't mean that it's true. i like the idea of the 3rd and 1st person bios.

well in MK:DA when u unlocked the second bio it came up with ALTERNATE COSTUME NOT ALTERNATE BIO so maybe your onto somethin

You're probably right. Alternate bio means exactly that. Or it should do anyway. Unless they mean secondary bio as in a bio that has more information. We'll have to wait and see I guess.

This makes perfectly good sense, but I hope this is not the case, i'd rather have a "altered" bio than added info.

agreed but in this situation it is all wishful thinking by wishful thinkers who actually think the mk team made 2 unique bios for each fighter when all they did was follow mkda and make a bio page for each outfit. 50 totally different bios for 25 fighters...or 25 2-page, just like mkda, bios for 25 fighters. you be the judge. the end. next.

Remember the Noob Saibot Bio? It only mentioned his own ambitions, and none of Smoke's. If Noob is one half of "Noob-Smoke", a team that functions as a single character of sorts, it stands to reason that the 'alt. bio' could be the lowdown on Smoke. I'm betting It'll be like MKDA, 2 per character. His/theirs just happen/s to be special.

there's nothing to speculate about. we arleady saw ermac's 2 bios. one in 3rd person one in 1st person. the only thing changed from MKDA is that u don't get the bio along with the costume. this is probably because the bios are now of better quality, and because they wanted to have more graves in the krypt.

What is ermac's 2nd bio?? I only saw the one where they refer to themselves in the 3rd person.
