It's not an MK team issue. DC would probably not allow alts and therefore no alts.

I didn't notice any alts but I did notice that if you push start when you select your character, the color changes. Raiden was burgendy when I play as him. scorpion was a annoying color as well

Actually Ed Boon already said they are really interested and looking in to allernate costumes. I imagine the design and approval process probably takes a while so they couldn't do it in time for the game which means its gonna end up costing us extra even though they jipped the 360 with no game case in the special edition.
