i mostly post on general discussion, and don't come as often as i used to because i refuse to know too much about the game. I've also refused to watch the videos containing fatalities, deathtraps, and oter content. Call me old school, but screenshots and renders give me enough satisfaction, like they did before the internet was huge...we only had magazines.

I like to be surprised, so im trying to keep a lot of things uncovered for now. but the tempation is tough to hold back from the videos.

I've watched most of the videos. Some had Fatalities some didn't.

For me it's a case of just seeing these videos and screenshots will not ruin the game for me. I have to experience it first hand to get the full entertainment and enjoyment. So it dosn't bother me when watching these things.

It's a mixed bag. Watching these videos only heightens my anticipation and enjoyment of the game, and every time a new clip is released, I shake my fist at my calendar. I watch the videos primarily so I can see the new special moves, arenas, and hear the sound, most importantly. I also hoped to see the arena weapons in action, and I wasn't disappointed.

But at the same time, it is good not to know absolutely everything. In my case, Fatalities. I remember not seeing Hsu Hao's fatality until I actually played DA, and I'm glad I waited in that case. I cringed. I'm sure they won't reveal many more before the game's release. I doubt we'll see Scorpion's or Sub-Zero's other fatals until then. At least, I hope not.

As for characters, I'd be content with new screenshots, but I'd prefer no new videos. I want to see how Smoke and Kabal look, but as for their being in action, I'd prefer to experience that firsthand.

I will not, however, download any Konquest videos. That's something I swore I would not spoil for myself.

I watched the 1st couple of new videos that were released but since them I've been tryin hard to keep SOME things a secret. I don't go anywhere near the "Lets analyze the select screen, until we've figured out who absoulutely everyone is, so there is no excitement when I actualy get the game." (Or something along those lines)But what pisses me off the most, is people who DON'T write (spoilers) in their thread topic! Damn that's annoying, and others who leave new game info in the thread topic itself. So I try to avoid the things that I feel will spoil the excitement of getting the game that 1st day it is released. But I'm afraid that by October the only thing I wont have seen for Deception is how the game looks on my TV screen...
