Yeah he does look pretty exciting but to be honest from the new peeps I'm really looking forward to Hotaru. Of course I'll be utilizing him after I master Sub-Zero.

Yea, right here. He does look badass, and doesn't look like some random stupid character they just added for the hell of it. I know he was supposed to be in MK:DA (they could've taken out hsu hao and filled his spot with dairou but dunno why they didn't) but o well. His weapon looks cool, kinda like Reptile's Kirehashi from MK:DA (fuckin awesome), the moves I've seen don't look bad, but I haven't seen any combos really. I'm dying to play this game, and after Ermac, he'll probably be the next male character I'll pick.

I have a feeling that he will actually be one of the favorites.The thing i like about him alot is his get up stance.Makes the look for a concentrated Martial artist.

yeah his get up stance rocks. im just excited about him. equally as much for hotaru and ermac. and baraka, and so on and so on and so on....

I was just thinking about Dairou today. We havent seen all that much of him, so I think alot of people have kind of forgotten about him or pushed him aside for other more favorable characters. Its really cool to see how a concept art character from MKDA made it into MKD.

We don't know an awful lot about him... I'm sure that if he was revealed as the vengeful cousin of Quan Chi from beyond the Netherrealm he would be the centre of attention.

One thing I noticed which makes Dairou badass is that he isn't a clone, doesn't look like anyone. He is very unique and I like that shit, I just hope they give him Duel Katanas.

Yea Dairou looks awesome. Hes not my favorite character, but i would definately want to see him in MK7

I was exited about him when I saw the sketch in MKDA.

But when I saw him in 3D, I was like eh..

His specials are OK. What does he have, a kick fireball and an exploding teleport. Are there more I don't know about?


I also hope he ends up with the dual katanas like in the concept art.

But have him use them differently from Quan chi.

But I think he'll still have that serrated sword instead.

I always thought he was Dairou since the first time i say him in Mk:Da a while ago. I love his move when he changes places with the person, that is 1 of the coolest moves in the game. I cant wait to play with him and see what his fatality is when the game comes out (I didnt watch his bio, i wanna wait 4 the game)

Hell yeah I am stoked about Dairou. I think right now he is very underrated and he will slip in under the radar and be a top teir character. I love his looks and his specials are very underestimated.

1.His fallback ground pound is a launcher.
2.Original fireball.
3.Teleport. Always a plus.
4.Now if I am not mistaken he has a position swap teleport that will move Dairou to the opponents spot and the opponent where Dairou was standing. Excellent for death trap set up/escape AND for projectiles. Imagine SubZero snowballing you and you teleswap with him and he gets frozen by his own snowball. Cool eh??

Dairou looks pretty neat. I personally was lukewarm about him since I first saw him in DA, so that may be why I overlooked him so much.

However, looking back, he does look like he shows some promise. Not to mention his weapon looks brutal...

I don't thik he's all that special... but we don't really know a lot about him... I hope his story is good... his moves are ok... an average character...
