i like that theory, and id actually prefer that to be the sub boss. People have asked if the sub boss will be "big" or "goro like", but frankly, that is what the Dragon King is for. Having Liu Kang as a sub boss would add a tremendous twist to the game, and give it a change of pace...especially since this sub boss becomes playable, we can expect it to do a fatality!

It makes sence to me (not saying that I have proof or anything) that it will be Liu Kang. For Liu to show up in a ghost AND a zombie form would make him a powerful enemy if you had to fight him. Let's say you fight his zombie form first for 2 or 3 rounds and beat him...THEN he changes and you have to fight his ghost form. Both forms would be like 2 totally seperate characters...each with their own different set of fighting styles and special moves. When, and if, you beat his ghost form it cuts to a fmv and Liu's soul is released from the clutches of Shang or the Dragon King...whoever has it. I personally have never been a huge fan of Liu, but alot of people are. That is what makes me think Boon meant by a 'hot' character. |
