I think an angelic scorpion would be badass. Hell, I'll settle for anything at this point. Something has got to give for our golden boy. He's just so damn boring now. And Scorpion was never evil to begin with, just vengeful. But as time passed by, he turned neutral and has been pretty much borderline-good ever since. It would make a lot of sense to have him finally take a side with Raiden.

Obviously, he's not the only one who wants Quan Chi dead. Having him take allegiance would really fit into the puzzle, IMO. Let's not forget the potential in gameplay and graphics. They could have a lot of fun with a holy Scorpion(and don't worry, they'll NEVER get rid of his skull).

Not become Angelic, just stay the way he is and just join forces with the good guys. That works and wouldn't piss as many people off.

Actually, I think i've been the only person running around these boards throwing the idea of an Angelic Scorpion whenever i could.

My idea was that the purity of Heaven tore his Hell-spawned body apart, But also purified his immortal soul.

Hey, I for one want nothing more for Scorpion then to remain baddass wearing his black & gold ninja outfit and throwing his spear into peaople's throats.

But now that Liu Kang is dead, I just felt that all the signs were pointing towards Scorpion as being the new "Hero" in MK:DA --- And what would be better then such a transformation?

I would like him to be back like in MK1.. more human-like. If not... heavenly would make more sense in the story... but not all nice and pacific.. he should be kind of like Angela from Spawn... works for heaven but is no angel! (That was corny... So what!?!??!!?)

I like the idea of giving Scorpion a change. His story is so lame and boring now.

And his look is always the same! I mean, he could still be a dead ninja, but with something that actually makes him look different.

I like the angelic idea very much, but maybe not for Scorpion. Make a new character with angel forms and powers, cool wings and all that, but not scorpion, is just not right.

Angelic is the way to go, it's the next step in his evolution. I bet all thoughs saying "keep him a hell-spawn," are the same one's saying " bring Kang and Kahn back along with every other old ass character. I'm looking for change, the future. I want MK6 to be fresh and new, not the same thing regurjitated over again, MK is to good for that.

His spear is his staple move, they won't get rid of it (I hope; look at sonya?). But I'm sure they wont dissapoint. Also as I said it before, a long time ago, if scorp comes back on the light side, it doesn't mean he's all smiles and fairly like, shit it doesn't even mean he on earth's side! He could come back on Heavens team, the team of the Elders, the team Raiden defied (Anythings possible). Bottomline: he can come back and still kill and kick ass like the good old days.

that really shouldn't be a problem,all you have to do is call subby. But seriously I think that if Scorpion did end up with angelic powers that it could have a nice twist on the overall feel of the game. I don't think it would be a good idea to remake Scorpion with angelic powers in MK6. He still has a lot to make up for and demonic powers seem to suit him. Also, I hope they make him the full time guard of the Neatherealm. Way too may prisoners are escaping and Scorpion would be perfect to keep them in and/or hunt them down. In this case, his demonic powers would work a great deal better than angelic in that unholy realm.
