It's on the middle stain glass window of the church sanctuary and shows what looks like to be a representation of the DK. Below it is a physical altar decorated with the classic MK icon symbol. So maybe this was a place of worship for the DK? Did Boon plan the MK story arc even during MK3? There are other DK symbol sightings that people have pointed out also, just search the MKD forum for them.

Never noticed it before, but I think they were intending on putting the dragon king in since around mk 3,or possibly even mk1.But in mk3 you have a few things representing the dragon king, the other I can think of is in ultimate,in shao kahns cavern where kahn is sitting in a throne with what appears to be the dragon king protecting it.

oooo never saw that, he might have had it planned the whole time, that picture in particular doesn't look like anyone else other than the Dragon King.
Hopefully we'll learn a bit of history about him in Deception.

You can also make out the upper portion of some kind of medallion on his chest which you can also see in the MKD background render of the DK. And on the left and right sides of the stain glass DK portrait you can see 2 round objects which also look like medallions. The right one is probably Sub Zero's dragon medallion and the left one is unknown. Maybe both artifacts are key to the DK's revival, with the left medallion to be unveiled in MKD.

They look like colored spheres with skulls in them.

Very nice find ulitmateryu. I think it resembles the Dragon King as well. If it is, that is cool as hell that they have been planning him for awhile now.
You all do realize that Tobias was doing the story back in MK3, and now it's Vogel?
I think this is crazy, there's only so many things you can while obsessing about something, and I think this is way over the line. It's a church's glass window! They tend to have multi colours and strange shapes that fit into each other like a puzzle.
You people are looking way too much into the Dragon King. I'm pretty sure he was only invented in MKDA. I mean, if they had already planned him in MK3, why would they have a crappy story and boss for MK4?

First off good find. 2nd you found another icon/symbol of Dragon King in MK3. A person a while back noticed that Dragon King figure in the UMK3 stage Kahn's cave( above of where Kahn is sitting in). You have found a new icon/symbol of Dragaon king. Again great find

if people keep getting all conspiratorial and overanalyzing everything in previous MKs, they're going to tempt Boon and Vogel to pull a George Lucas
Boon & Vogel: "Oh of course, we had the Dragon King planned since MK1. It's something we've always wanted to implement, but never had the technology... until now."
Sensible fan: "But John... you didn't write for the previous MKs..."
B&V: "..."

Let's ask the man himself, Ed Boon, if the DK story arc has been planned for a long time and if the "DK symbols" are subtle references or just coincidence. Maybe MKO can ask him in the next "fight night chat" or at the next E3. I dont think Boon would lie, it would be out of character for him. Also, im sure he would know even though he's not the story writer, he's practically the mastermind behind the MK universe.

He's got a point. Besides, one could argue that the statue in Kahn's Kave is a base model for a vampire (compare it to Nitara's body structure; similar). Those things could be just regular decoration and nothing more.
And the ''Dragon King throne'' is hardly a sighting. Have you considered the possibility that while Vogel was figuring out a design for the DK, he looked at the MK3 bg and went ''what if I made him look like the throne?''.
You people are just being paranoid in a very loser-ish way. I bet you I could find at least five more ''symbols'', ''icons'' and ''signs'' of the Dragon King on the previous MK games, out of nowhere.

If u consider that a lot of designs from MK are very similar from eachother these "sightings" are very common. A lot of people thought that the skull in the trailer was Baraka, Dragon king, etc.
PLUS there is a constant patter of dragons since the beggining! its not weird to see different kinds of dragons scattered arround.
Regarding the window... that looks like shao khan... and probably by coincidence

Find them then. I'm not saying I agree with any of this since I think it's Shao Kahn in the glass window. But since you said you could find five or more then do so after that harsh post.
Finally someone reasonable. These finds are ridiculous, it's a coincidental stained glass window design. Not everything pointy has to be a Dragon King representation. Let's get real, guys.

No, no, you didn't get me. If I was a loser with nothing better to do than to just stare at all the mk backrounds ever made, I'd most likely find dozens of these ''sightings''.
And by the way, I don't think Shao Kahn's throne looks ANYTHING like the Dragon King.

The stainglass window was a random design and has nothing to do with the dragon king. Seriously looking this deeply makes ya'll nerds, then you guys try to make something of it which makes ya'll super nerds. Seriously you guys are the same people who say Li Mei is Mileena because Li Mei has sais and the name Li Mei has the first letters of Mileena and wears purple.

Shao Kahn, DK, or pure crap, it's still pretty interesting.
