Liu Kangs inclusion in this game has taken up a valuble spot for characters who were much more needed, such as Kitana, Sektor, Frost, Kung Lao, Nitara, Quan Chi, Rain, Ninja Reptile, Sonya Blade, a New or Old Shokan and a couple others. Giving up a presious space to a character who has both lived out his worth and is not liked by a majority of fans is not a good move for the come back game of Mortal Kombat. It is true that many characters have been given resurections, however, no death has been so monumental to the plot of the games as Liu Kangs Death. His death was needed to get rid of an old stale character, and it gave a good warrior an honorable death. Foolish moves like this simply cheapen a character that was once good, but who should now step out of the lime light. We the undersigned would like to see Liu Kang removed and one of the above characters given his spot.

I Hate Liu Kang, but my Brother is a best fan of him...so i don't vote for this petition!

Give the guy a chance. Hes just returned and you want him out before even seeing hwat he's capable of. Notice the revamps the other classic characters went through on MKDa once the new engine was in. Kang will be going through the same thing in MKD.

Just wait and see what he's like. Then complain.

I think you are taking the storyline more seriously than Boon and co.They seem to just want to have fun with it.

There seems to be about as many people for Liu as against him.At the peak times this forum gets about 60 users,so at most 30 hate him.
Boon and co are aiming there marketing at the millions not 30 hard core fans.Liu is considered a good character for both beginner and advanced.

HE SAID NO LUI KANG LOVERS HERE!......i for one, would like to see him in this game just for the fact that i would practice against him for hours cause he is a RETARTED little monkey...i mean look at him....i have nothing against him or anyone who likes him but after the historical death of lui kang it would ruin the series if he had been braught back...i mean it would be cool for him to be a training dummy but he is taking up valuble inventory space...i can garuntee that more than 8 times the people that like lui kang, would want SEKTOR!...he would be a much better choice for storyline,selling copys,and overall gameplay. he is just a better choice....

Dosen't matter, a petition that so far only 2 or 3 people have signed isn't going to change Midway's mind. Especially this close to MKD's release.

But to be on topic, I don't care if Liu comes back or not as long as cool to play as. Really, some of you guys worry a little too much over the storyline.

You know, if Liu Kang hadn't been in the game, that doesnt inevitably mean that Midway would have put Sektor in his place, thus this kind of post presents no interest...
