Kenshi is my favorite fighter and isn't very easy to read from the opponents perspective if you know what you are doing.
I am pretty good with him and my MKO rank is an average 700 to 1000. My Win/Loss record is like 265/140. I am good but I get worked by some of the really good guys out there.
Does anybody have any good combos they use with Kenshi? I hear that some people are really good with the katana but I rarely use it. Any strategies as far as that would be nice as well.
Also, some Ermac strategies as well if you could post them.... Thanks

I notice most people will wait for you to make a combo while they stand and block, and then they will do theirs. Approach them and when they start to block, and keep pulling throws. When they see that you keep approaching and throwing, they will start to come to you, and that's when you start to use Kenshi's or Ermac's telekenetic moves. I play as Ermac. But i have the advantage of the dropping bomb move, which works great against those who duck and hide.

here are some basic combos to poke or punish using ermac:
hua chuan: 2,2,2
choy lee fut: 2,2,1,CS
axe: 4,4,4
B,D,B,4 F,B 2
although in my view the best way to punish a blocked combo with ermac (or anybody) is a nice quick uppercut, which will set you up for a hado energy or a mystic bomb.

I like both, but you can't use Ermac the same way you use Kenshi. Now tell me if that makes any sense. They pretty much have the same special moves besides Ermac's levitation. By the way, I find it funny that Sindel can't levitate but she uses it for a victory pose.
