I dont know how many coffins there are, but you unlock their secrets through the new konquest mode in Deception. It would be nice to open up coffin (Insert to letters here), for a certain amount of coins, and unlocking a FULL VERSION OF MK2!!!!!

man it took me forever to unlock all of the koffins

don't tell anybody but...(I didn't finish oppening the coffins yet) *cries*

I feel your pain bloody, I feel your pain ^_~ *runs off to finish koffins so I can retract this statement*

I am glad there are not alot of Koffins in MKD, b/c even though there were a lot of them in MKDA some of them were full of unvaluable things!!!

You won't get a full version of MORTAL KOMBAT II because a few weeks before Deception is released, Midway will release Midway Arcade Treasures 2 that will have full versions of MK, MKII and MK3 plus some other awesome midway arcade classics such as narc and what not. The Krypt won't be as big(kinda happy on that 1) as in DA. Hopefully this time it will just unlock some characters, weapons, stages, alt. outfits and maybe more fatalities[not holdin my breathe on that 1 though]

All i know is it wont be as big, and its in the same place on the menu as mkda.

On the menu it ́s not even there.
What.. Do you unlock the "Krypt" or something cause on the menu the only things you have in the beginning is:
KOMBAT
VERSUS
CHESS KOMBAT
PUZZLE KOMBAT
KONQUEST
MK ONLINE

The ------'s are THE KRYPT, KONTENT, PLAYER PROFLE and GAME OPTIONS
The only reason its dark is coz its a E3 demo!

That's a shame, I was hoping there wouldn't be a krypt. I hate that concept, I wish it was like back in the day where you just unlocked things by beating certain events as a specified character on a verious difficulty. Krypt just seems to waste my time.

Despite what other ppl r sayin i hope there will be a lot of koffins as long as they r good.What i would like to see is they could put like old character bios and maybe they could show videos of fatalities of the old Mortal Kombats.Ofcourse they r going to have costumes, arenas, and stuff like that, but those two things i would like to see, anyone agree?

I defenetly totally agree!!!!

i wouldnt mind seein endings from the old mortal kombats too.
