I'm not sure, but Ashrah definitely looks, er... Godlike. I hope they don't look like the gods that were in MK:M Subzero. Those were all rather lame and, if I'm not mistaken, Boon didn't make that game. I could be wrong though. Still, I'd like to see Fujin back, perhaps in the place of Rayden even? I thought that Fujin would be the god in the game after MK4, but obviously I was wrong.

There is a difference be gods and elder gods. We've never seen any of the current elder gods in any game unless you count shinnok being an evil one and raiden being a temporary one. In mk4 it said that raiden and fujin were the last surviving gods of earth realm after their battle with shinnok. It would be nice to see other gods in it like fire earth water and see what there names are. Well maybe fire, i'm not sure how the earth god will do since we've seen him look big and blocky and water since he is fluid, but maybe they both can take human form like raiden and fujin and have a new look. I read somewhere that ashrah might be a god.

Since earth has gods wouldn't edenia and outworld and such?

i agree people r saying that ashara (how ever u spell her name)she is the god of light i think that she is and i hope the elder gods return cause theres still some more rooms for new people so theres a chance.im still pretty sure that ahara is the elder god of light

I hope that they bring back Fujin. I was very happy to see Quan Chi retrun in MK5. But however, he was the only character from mk4 to see another mk game. I hope that the mk team takes a look at some of the mk4/gold characters that they left behind. They have some awesome characters there. Such as Reiko,Fujin,Shinnok,Quan Chi, and Jarrek.

Ashrah could also be an Outworld or Edenian god. We don't know at this point, but no, I don't think the Elders would ever come to fight...its not their business.
