Any other good ideas for new weapons?

Personally, I still think that weapons are not needed for everyone depending on their personality, look and reputation in the series... I could easily see Liu Kang having 3 hand to hand styles without a weapon, but I was wondering what you guys could think of for the remaining characters who do not have a weapon yet? Id like to see someone with some sort of whip. This probably goes back to my obsession with Indiana Jones, but I see it having some potential. For some odd reason I see it better suiting a female like Tanya. I dont know why though.. haha

ya either that or a really obscenely large sword... The only problem with that is so many characters have some sort of sword so... maybe ur axe idea. I also like the trident for him even though that is a weapon used by Neptune... I like it for a larger character.

A mallet(like the one Raiden had in MK4) a morningstar whip/chain whip like Ivy from Soul Calibur, a claw(like Vega from SF or Genan from Samurai Shodown).

I would like to see some Wind and Fire Wheels. And perhaps a Wushu Monk's Spade. (Been checking out weapon store sites again grin )

Two wrist blades like Blood Rayne.
A rope dart much like Scorpions.
Two bladed rings like one of the girls from Dynasty Warriors.
Ninja hand claws.(Gloves with four metal studds that extract in blades.)
Zanbato.(Giant Soul Edge type sword)
Shadow Weapons(Weapons which can take any form)
Beem Sabres(like the ones that Gundams have)
Plasma Sword(Like Zero's from MegaMan X. Starts as a handle and then turns into a sword.)

I'd like to see the ball and chain weapon that Go-Go from Kill Bill has. It'd make an excellent long range weapon.

For the Dragon King I could see a huge staff with a dragon wrapped around it and 2 skulls facing opposite directions at the top. Or like the one they had in raidens ending on MKDA . Also a huge sword or ax would work

Man, Sindel has a Kwan Do and Hotaru has a Naginata. I think that's enough polearms for one game. Besides, we don't want people to start calling Hotaru a Sindel clone. wink

Some character should have a pair of nunchakus.

That's probably likely to be Ben. I've already got my favorite two weapons in the game, but I would also like to see a 3 sectional staff, for Tanya perhaps. Or someone.

I want to see sum1 to get a flail, maybe Sindel if she doesnt get her whip. Or i would like to see sum1 with blade talons, war hammer, or i want a cool staff (Not like how Raiden had his in Mk:Da, maybe a black 1 with sharp edges)

The sword on fire for Scorpion is a superb idea. It would look awesome graphically being swung around.

noob saibot better get his scythe from mk4 it wouldbe so awesome as a long range weapon if he gets a sword like in mkte i'm gonna be pissed

why the hell does ermac have an axe i hoped that smoke would get it ( like scorpions combo in mkt)

rain if he's in should get the double bladed sword or double bladed staff

I think Smoke should have two plasma sabers. They're much like Zero's in MegaManX. They're two handles that can extended into swords. They would also be able to extend as long range weapons.
I'd like some of the weapons to have their own special attacks. If any body read my Ravage concept you would know that for energy weapons I'd like to see someone shoot an energy wave from a slash of the swords.
