Any significance related to the new look of Li Mei's Sparkler attack?

If you check out one of the new screenshots from the GameSpot preview you'll notice one where Li Mei is firing off her Sparkler energy attack at Nightwolf...

But the color is now purple instead of her old bright pure white energy from DA...

Could the change in the color symbolize a darker power now within Li Mei? Or is it just a stylistic change? What do you think?

Anyway, what do you guys think though? Could the color change in the energy be symbolic of a dark power with her? Perhaps a side product of turning evil if that's her story now?

Ditto on both counts. I think her evil persona has caused her sparkler to become darker.

Her feet are sparkling with white light in one of the new trailers though.

It's the one on the Yin-Yang level.

Yeah, I just noticed that too... Anybody notice how beefed up her special moves are now? Jeez, she got off like two Kartwheel Kicks in a juggle one right after the other... She's gonna rock... smile

hmm.. allthough it does look more evil.. and it is in the yin yang lvl.. it could be because of the lvl.. or mabe its a diffrent move?? mabe it brings them forward like reptiles old balls did.. err the big green ba... oh forget it...

anyway... also look at her helmet.. she looks like one of the dk's warriors... hmm..
