I haven't heard any news about blaze's return but I hope he is a secret character again. The only thing that was wrong with him in mk: DA is that he was a copycat of scorpion and he didn't have any fatalities. I had wished they have replaced blaze with Noob Saibot whenever I played Deadly Alliance because Noob was in mk: TE. but now that blaze has a good (and mysterious) storyline, I would like him to return in Deception with a newer look (like in the krypt), his own fighting styles and a good fatality. other than that I think everything will go well with him.

Personally i thought Blaze was a terrible character. His moves sucked he had no fatal and his story was weak aswell. Not to mention he is so generic, i mean how many fire men have been seen before...tons. I would have liked to see his concept in the krypt rather than his final outcome.

I agree that his story wasn't good. I did like his concept though, I would want him in MKD, but I think they should scrap the quest story and make him the DK's guardian. He was the guardian of the egg, I believe he should remain as the DK's protector. Do that, give him original moves, a better exectued look, and a couple of sick fatalities and I think he could be awesome - how about as a (sub)sub-boss?

He should come back considering he has a mission to finish and we have no idea what it is. He's an intresting character and I wouldn't mind seeing him back as long as he was improved.

he needs some fire projectile, a change in his look, and a fatality. i just thought of this fatality for blaze like 5 minuts ago

Inferno Uppercut:Blaze places his right hand on the opponent's forhead and bursts flames all over the opponent. The opponent while on fire begins to scream in pain and then Blaze uppercuts their head off (think johnny cage fatal from mk1) and the body turns to ashes and the flaming skull lands in a pile of ashes.

I think we'll see him in the background of the remake of PitII in chess kombat.

Well Boon did say in the MKO interview that the sub boss will be one of the hottest characters in MK. You cant get much hotter than Blaze, literally.

lol blaze was a cool concept and a cool story but in the game he became a dull uninteresting fighter if they put the same amount of work in blaze for mkd as sub-zero for mkd he would be the most awesome mk kombatant to return from mkda

Yeah I read that too, I wonder if it could be Blaze? I think it's a good idea, but it's most likely not gonna happen ...

Yeah it is indeed Chameleon. I don't think Blaze is powerful enough to be a serious sub boss.

The possibility has to be there that if Smoke is back as Smoke, as rumoured, then there could be a fire being as well (ie. Blaze).

Oh god we could get Klues like, "Where there's smoke there's fire" coming from the shadows in Konquest.
