that is why i refuse to watch anything over still pictures and very little, if not any of the fighting.
I have seen only 1 fatality, and that is Baraks Hari Kiri...which snuck up on me on accident.
When i get the game i will be watching the inrto for the first time, when i do the fatalities i will be watching them for the first time, and even the special moves!!

Just to let you know...putting the thread topic all in caps is not allowed. Welcome to MKO.
To answer your question: I'm going to make sure things are a surprise for me. I'm not going to look at anything that is a spoiler, and I'm going to see which fatalities are released. If it's one I've never seen before I'm not going to watch it.

im kinda not clickin on new videos and pictures.. cause there will be no suprises.. luckily boon is smart enough to not let out huge secrets so we wont ever know those till the game is out

look man, if you're afraid of having nothing new to discover in the game, do like thelonious monk and myself, for example
the intro - didnt saw not even a milisecond of it
kabal, ermac, sindel, darrius, nightwolf and jade's harakiris - never seen them, although I've read about them
kobra, kabal, darrius, dairou, etc, etc specials - not even a clue of what they look like, the only ones I've seen are scorps teleport kick, nightwolfs arrow and dash, subs ice clone, and a couple of others from ermac, hotaru and ashrah
the only thing that won't be much of a surprise to me are some deathtraps and the first fatalities shown, but the rest is saved for the firs time I play the game
but even if you've seen those things, you still have 24+ endings
400 koffins waiting for you to open them, all those extra characters, arenas, deathtraps, costumes, fatalities, harakiris that weren't yet revealed
the whole konquest plot and adventures
so I think that having nothing to unlock is not really a problem in this game

Yea, you just have to control yourself. Personally I dont care if I see everything, which I dont think we will. We wont know the super unlockables until release, maybe not even then. We still wont know all of the fatalities. I remember Boon stating several times, we want things to be kept secrect, we want some surprises left for release. I believe they will keep some of the best stuff secret. A couple fatalities or Hara kiris are nothing compared to even 1 super unlockable...now if people start spoiling those, then...

I made a thread like this, I was also worried about seeing and knowing about everything in the game before it even came out. Even says "Self-Control" but come on sometimes your borred or just cant help but look on whats new since nobody likes begin in the dark about something the like a lot.

The trick is not self-control...
It's to enjoy watching a spoiler as much as you would when playing the actual game. It just spreads your enjoyment out over a long period of time.
For example, reading a movie script prior to seeing the movie doesn't ruin a movie, but it can alter your perspective. When it's released, it's sometimes hard to appreciate anything and sometimes you tear through all the spoilers in 5 minutes anyway. Nothing spoiled that isn't enjoyed over a long period of time.

Personally I think that the only reason we're getting a lot of information this time is cuz of REACTIONS. Boon and co. want to see how we think about things so that it would appeal to us and other gamers. So be grateful this time around cuz in MK7 u might not get as much info...

No I think they learned after MKDA that they cant release all the info right away...I know the intro leaked...but stuff like that can not be helped trust that it did not leak from any of the 30 members on the MK team. The susposed super unlockable six characters that were seen in the strategy guide...not to flame the guy that posted it, but its bull crap trust me! All I can say is that there will still be enough to discover even though the internet if flooded with information...all I can say in my closing statement is have faith.

I don't mind seeing new fatalities and things because they're spread out. I've seen maybe 15 Fatalities and about 6 HaraKiri... but that's out of what? 48 Fatalities and 24 HaraKiris (NOT including super secret characters) And it's taken months to see just those few finishers. A lot of people will get the game, read the strategy guide, and see EVERY finisher by the end of the first night or so.
Plus, some of the videos are really low-quality and STILL pack a punch and I know it'll be even MORE awesome seeing on a big ass TV screen with the speakers blastin'.
But I understand NOT wanting to see too many videos. To each his own.

I hope there is alot more, and "chock" full of secrets for us left to discover. Also I dont think that the strategy guides should have all the secrets in it. It kind of takes away from all of it.
Its true that I dont need to see it, but they will be online everywhere and the temptation will be too high.
Once I get the game im going to stay offline for a good long while, so hopefully things arent found out before the game is released. I want to say holy crap when a screen comes up and says "You have found me, now prepare yourself!" or something like that comes up.

While we have seen alot, in retrospect of the whole game we haven't really seen that much. We have every characters ending, half the bio's left, all of konquest, the rest of the fatalities, the rest of the hari kiri's, how to beat Onaga, Shujinko's story, puzzle kombat, chess kombat, and most importantly we have online play! I was be estatic if arcade treasures had online support.

I think this is going the way of deadly alliance.Where they showed you everything by the time the game came out. That's why I look at some but not all the vids/pics etc.
