that would be very cool, expecially when scorpion throws his spear and u acidently do the teleport and u end up on the other side of the map, and ur oppenent is already back to his feet by the time u get back lol

i would rather he not have it, i never thought ti suited him. There is only 2 people that i liked the teleport for, raiden and Kung Lao, if either of them are in the game (please please please kung lao) and do have the teleport, they better ahve the right sound for it, the one from MKII was amazing IMO

For Scorpion, I hope he get's his teleport, but give it a cool effect, like Scorp dissipating into flames, and then a fire appearing behind the opponent and the fire turns into Scorpion.

I do. I think it would be interesting to see this in a FULLY 3D environment.

I think the teleport suits Noob Saibot the best.But I think it would look awesome if Scorpion had his teleport punch back.It would be a great combo starter.Also since all characters will have about 5 special moves,I think his teleport punch has a good chance of returning.

That'd be cool. Same thing with Mileena's Kick, giver her a cool shimmering effect maybe or something else just as cool.

Yeah it is confirmed that the characters will have 5 or 6 special moves each their classics moves and some new ones. BTW How do people feel about Scorps Leg takedown? I hope that's back.

Boon said each character would have roughly around 5 special moves.

What 5 moves should Scorpion get?

1.Spear(Classic)
2.Teleport Punch(Classic)
3.Backflip Kick(Badass)
4.Fireball(It would look awesome)
5.???

Mabye it could be very different.For example while both Scorpion and his opponent are in the air,Scorpion blasts his opponent to the ground with a fireball.

Ohhh, I like. That would look bad ass.

They ALL should have their predated: classic, original, special, (how ever you want to call it) moves/attacks back. Way to go Boon for doing!!! It's what really separated the characters from being just another boring face in the game. It just wasn't Punch... Kick..Sparkly...Bang your dead. BORING. It just seemed to have given the characters more depth. It certainly gave the characters their own unique identity and feel. Also, you had to consider completely different attacks both offensively and defensively. Don't let your guard down while your across the screen in the corner. Bang..too late you forgot to watch your back!! Now, TO SEE THESE MOVES IN A THREE DIMENSION is going to be just INCREDIBLE!!! Imagine seeing in 3D: Raiden flying at you on the screen or Kung L. teleporting out of the ground with a kick, even Mileena's teleport kick/or ground roll with this new engine!!! Or what about Raiden's winning pose with lightning screeching out to the heavens!! Man I get goose bumps just thinking about it!!

more specifically, i'd hope for Scorpion's Decoy(MKI and II) to return. it was like his more recent teleport move, except it left an after-image of him on the other side of the screen. hence, the name Decoy.

You guys are WEIRD (not meant seriously ;) )!
I mean, come on! How can you wish his Air throw move back? That's a waste for a special move. And regarding the teleport, I hope it stays out of the game, unless it really looks damn good or has some cool sideeffect.

I think that his Special moves should be:
1.) Spear
2.) that Firekick from MKDA
3.) Flames (from MK4) and please: WHY Fireball instead?? It would miss too often
4.) MAYBE that Pits from hell move from MKDA
5.) new move or awsome looking Teleport

I agree with all the people who dont want Scorpion to have his teleport back. I also believe that no characer new or old should have a teleport. As said by Ed Boon, during the production of MKDA certain moves dont have a place in a 3D fighting game. This is why they didnt put teleports in MKDA they had good reason for it, i will be mad if they go back on their original words and put teleports back in the game because i see them as being too cheap of moves and only being there for dumbass people who want to fustrate you by teleporting all over the huge enivronments.

taking away the spear/teleport punch from scorpion is blasphemy. taking away slide/freeze from sub, torpedo/teleport from raiden, etc., is also blasphemy. whether 2d or 3d, those are trademark moves. make them work. raiden lost all coolness for me in mk5 and scorpion just did not feel the same during combos.

of course,i agree!!!!....bring back Scorpion's signature move,the "Teleport"....it was a great move to make combos,even in MK 1 you could do combos with the teleport....

With the possiblity of timing a Teleport badly, and in turn being launched into a Deathtrap (UNLIKE MK:DA), it could be a disadvantage as much as an advantage. That's why I think it will be in Deception and why it wasn't in MK:DA.

I would love to see it come back.
