...in MKD is NOT a playable character.
anyone else think this?
I do think it would be cool though that "the story" of the next game would somehow include these characters and that once someone (Im guessing either Liu Kang or Shujinko in cannon) defeated Onaga that the players would be released from The Prison Stage and thus allow them to be in the next MK game.
I did a quick run through of all characters that have ever been in a MK game... and those not seen in the Prison Stage thus far are:
Quan Chi
Sheeva
Human Smoke
Old Sub Zero
I know the game was only 80% complete at the latest showing but this may help to narrow down who some of the "Super Unlockables" may actually be.
My other theory is that Shujinko's ally "Damashi" may be an unlockable player
ps> anyone else have any other MK players we havent seen in the Prison stage?

due to the fact jade is locked in the prison and she is playable.. so your incorrect.

Jade was shown in the prison stage very early on....so that gives anyone hope...that if their favorite character is shown on that stage...that character may be playable, since Jade was in the prison stage....
HOWEVER...the one thing to take into consideration, is the concept of HOW old those shots were, of Jade being shown in the prison, has she been seen on that prison stage in any of the latest versions, or any version played at gamestars, or midways gamersday?
Maybe she was added to the roster at the last minute? so who knows....I really do hope she's shown in that prison stage, and then unlockable...
but if that were the case...it seems that EVERYONE from MK would be playable, lol

I think the characters in the prision are just models randomly plucked from Konquest... that would explain why there are 2 reptiles, and why it keeps changing... plus in konquest there is EVERY single character in the fighting MK games (meaning Mythologies and Special Forces don't count)
