Well I think I am going to trade it in I mean there isn't much more to do and there are no SU's. I promised myself I wouldn't trade it in but that was before it came out..I didn't get to experience it. I mean it is a great game and all but there is nothing to do anymore when you think about it. So yea most likely next week I'll trade it in and hopefully can get money back and I'll add that too my money to go shopping for clothes shoes and some games for Christmas.
What about you guys

I would never trade in an MK game... but hell... out of all the games I've bought this year, I'd most want to ditch this...

Please take no offense when I say this , but It is a bit of a ashame the is the reason why future MK games should never been like MK: Deception. You can see people( those that do like the game) are losing interest in the game not because of the fighting part of the game, but where the game has extra kontent. To me that is a shame. Past MK games have stood the test of time on if they are good on not. MK: Deception too much on kontent and not about the gore fun fighthing expearance like past MK games. IMO this is the reason why MK should never again just be just about the fighting game, people won't just to think about MK has a fighting game. Instead MK will just become a quick hit in terms of fighting and non important party games like Puzzle and Chess.Even though I dislike Deception ( in fact I consider this lowwest in favor out of all the MK games). I would never trade it in do it is IMO below average storyline, majority new lame characters,2 unessarcy modes, and poor Konquest mode. Not because am I a MK fan, it cause it is a inportant peice of MK history that in the long run it will all fit together. storyline wise. MK has always been about fun in playing the game itself not discoverying stuff or wanting to discover stuff that may not exist but it was the overall fighting. Now you have people disliking MK: DA ( lack of stage and 2nd fatalites) MK: Decpetion ( those liking it just because it has more kontent than MK: DA rather than it being better in terms of overall fun is sad). I sort of fear for the MK fan base future, people liking extra modes such as puzzle and what not extra modes that will help turn alway from the core fun fighting game that was in the past MK1- MK: DA. When MK didn't didn't run on secrets people would just want to learn or even if there are SU. The main focus was on whether it the game was enjoyable or not. That lead to its replay , not secrets, or stuff to dig up 7 months later. Again for what ever MK game you like isn't for SU,secrets or creative fatalites, but I hope overall great traditional MK story telling and if the game is fun
I never finished Kumite in VF4 or VF4E and I still haven't finished the Quest mode in SC2 I beat it once but you have to beat it again to get all the stuff.
Extra modes are never the focus of the games for me I just like to get in to the fighting.
Time attack, Arcade, VS... stuff like that.
But different people have different ways of thinking so what ever floats your boat I guess.
Also I won't trade it in because I never trade my fighting games.
I still have all of them.

As fighting games these days go, I respect and enjoy Soul Calibur 2 and Dead or Alive 2. However, I still far prefer old school stuff like Capcom Vs SNK 2... etc...
This is why I liked the MK of old... it was easy to pick up and play... quick and easy... and FUN. It is also why new MKs suck...
With DA and D, which I don't like much, they are looking to emulate Tekken etc... but dont quite get there. MKDA and MKD are not as quick and easy to play as old MKs and Street Fighter. At the same time, they lack the finesse and depth of Tekken and Soul Calibur.
This is why these new MK games blow.
yeah, pretty much...
But again this comes up, different people have different tastes some like 2D style some like complex.
Personally I like the complex more but I still love the 2D games.
Basically they don't suck because they are getting more complex or realistic, they suck because they aren't done right.
Basically what you said.

Only in like 2-3 years when the PS3 comes out in Australia. It'll be one of the pile of games I trade in at EB so I can get it cheap.
