Not Sonya, Kano or Johnny Cage.
So, roughly 57% of MK1 characters are represented.

You said the fifth MK? Which would be DA. This belongs in the MKDA forum Unless you meant to say MK6 Which would be Deception. Also you should be more descriptive in the title of your topics. But to answer your question (if you really did mean MK5) The characters from MK1 that were playable in Deception were
Sonya
Cage
Kano
Raiden
SubZero
Scorpion
Shang Tsung
And even Liu made an appearance in the openining So technically Yes every player from the first Game Made an appearance in DA including a mention of Goro.
Edit: Ok, now that I'm clear on the question, Only in Konquest mode will you be able to see EVERY character that appeared in MK's 1 thu 5. They will not all be playable.
