I totally agree.

I bet there will be a way to unlock most of the places that you fight in chess and the "tetris" like areas in the normal 1 on 1 fighting mode. They will most likly to be hidden in Konquest mode.

Its gonna be so badass fighting at the dead pool.

I just hope that IF they are selectable in the single player via unlocking that they have the correct backround fatalities. (Dead Pool... The Pit..)

I'd think that Boon would know how much hardcore MK fans would love to fight in these arenas and from what I've seen, fight sequences don't last too long in the chess game so there is not too much time to appreciate the fact that you're playing in one of the classic MK arenas. I think they'll definitely be unlockable for the main game and online play. Unfortunately considering the history of MK I doubt that you'll be able to manually select where you'll fight so you'll just have to cross your fingers to hope you get the right arena.
