There are three rules for doing scientific research. Unfortunately, no one knows what they are.

The red flashes indicate the first hit, where you can use a combo breaker.

By red lights, are we talking the red light indicator under the life bar or the red flashes when someone gets hit every so often?

The red lights when characters get hit, yes.

Bezou, are you sure? If you are correct, that would be a bit of a disappointment.

Is anyone else disappointed that the PU's, counters and escapes are seemingly not coming back, by the way? I know I am.

Cheers,

To me, the red lights seem to indicate the recovery time.

It looks a bit similar to the hit data on Tekken, wher the character is red until he has recovered from the move.

Just my thoughts though.
