How high a rank above/below you are you challenging? I'm not sure how the ranking system works, but I would assume you would only rank up after beating someone of higher ranking than you are....

I'm having this problem to, and to be honest it's frustrating. I've played well over 100-150 games now, both in puzzle, chess and kombat combined, and it says i'm still at about 49 games.
I usually receive challenges, but the ones I send out are for folks with at least a winning streak.
It hasn't updated, literally, in 4 days.

Yes, I am rather high ranked..(79th)..but I have challenged higher than me, and still my stats don't move.

Mine have been updating very slowly as well. It's krappy.

I've been 5-5 for the past 5 days, when really I'm more like 10-7. The only day it ever changed was the day I first started playing (5 days ago).

GameSpot really needs to fix this, it's very VERY easy to have realtime ecord and ranking updates, as they're happening... being a new server isn't an excuse for this kind of stuff...

i think midway needs to hold off on some productions and work on this problem

Midaway has little to nothing to do with the online servers, GameSpot does... Midway just needs to do what they're doing and that's making MK7 hopefully for the PS3

gameSPY, which deception runs its servers off of, also hosts starwars battlefront, which ive heard is horriblew because of them. gamespy blows.
i was 16-13. i beat this kid 5 times in a row, and lost once, and he disconnected or something. funny thing is, thew only thing they decided to register is the one lost i got.
they are so horrible. they need to redo their ranking system.

I had the same problem with the win/loss system. I dont think the actual rank is f'ed up just the win/loss record. I went online yesterday for the 1st time and my real record is 32-14 but I show as 0-2. However, even with my wonderful record of 0-2 I have climbed in rank.
I'm not sure if this is the same for everyone, just wanted to post it mainly because all of my fights were done in 1 night so being able to see my rank go up and down was fairly easy since there weren't many fights to average for me.
In either case playing online has been much better than I expected.
