Or do you still wish there were some radical changes? Everyone, I know, has things they would have liked improved in MK:DA, and MK:D is the perfect game to fix all those annoyances, so... is the game satisfactory, or do you still long for more? More characters, more arenas, more stage fatalities, more kontent? How do you feel about it? Fatality.

My only complaint is that I'd like to see more Fatalities. Either more fatalities per person or the reintroduction of Animalities, etc.

I'm liking how it looks and I trust Midway to keep improving every game. Love or hate Deadly Alliance, it was a radical departure from 2d Kombat.

I'm ok with the way things are coming along, but we all know there's room for improvement. I would like to see the MK Team focus in the gameplay, but I'm gonna buy the game either way.

I love it...
It look faster...
"Prettyer" (more color and lighting effects)...
The storyline look like it's finaly falling into place!
The new kombatant look kool (not like Hsu Hao)...
Fatality look great (Mileena laugh is awsome, imagine the rest of the kombatant)...
Extra replay-value with Chess and Puzzle Kombat...

The Queen of all fighting game is born (well... in october!)

if u remember ed boon in a e3 interview..he said the gameplay upgrade is an obvious thing they will do. I guess thats why ur not hearing much about it, b/c to them its something thats def gonna be done and they expect everyone to know that. Since everything else is practically new, there emphasis is more towards the newer features then gameplay.. But give it time there bound to amp up this game more then expected..E3 is all about teasers, not final products (some exceptions, but mk not being one of em)

I think the game is progressing greatly. The only thing im disappointed by is the fact that Rain will probably not make a appearance. I dont know why the MK team would resurrect all the ninjas except for him when hes my personal favorite. But other then that its all good.

The puzzle kombat looks really neat with its little twists and character fatalities. I think the chess mode is gonna be an awesome experience just because the Mk universe is gonna be combined with well....chess. And I LOVE how they are resurrecting classic stages like the portal and the pit. I also believe the graveyard will be back after the pictures I saw.

The konquest mode though, MUST be superb if this game will succeed. I hope that the mk team will dedicate themselves to make sure that this mode is the best out of the main four. The fact that every MK character in history is gonna make an appearance is pretty kick-ass indeed, but I wanna see if you can actually fight any of the ones not in the arcade game.

I have HUGE hopes for this game and I hope boon will not disappoint.

Yes, So far everything that was in MK: DA seems to be better in MK: Deception.Better graphics, better sound, better music, better mini games, more options, and a bigger Konquest. Also I think once the MK team put in the new fighting engine it will be far better that the version we have seen at E3. With online play the replay of MK: Deception will be unlimited.

I'm still not too keen on the online fee. Is online play worth it in MK:D? Fatality.

As far as an MK goes, I'm pretty happy. As far as a fighter goes...yeah...whatever...we'll see.

If the mechanics are decent, it will be worth it to play online. If not...I sure as hell wont be online for too long.

Everything is great. However, i would like it if they focused MAINLY on the gameplay, because thats one of the most important things in a fighting game.smile

Give me hundreds of unlockables. Like the Krypt, but "hidden" within the game. Konquest mode could easily provide that. Fatality.

I think everything is great! I'd like a few more characters, but other than that, I can't complain about a thing!
If they do what some say as barely anything to DA's gameplay.. it's going to be a sad MK.

Indeed.

But, I'll say everything else looks nice.

Then again I don't really care about everything else seeing as how I'm buying this game for the fighting and all.

I need to see some match vids so we can get all analytical on this sucker.

I really want to see these 'combo breakers'.

The last thing this game needs to be perfect is to be in my hands now.

Am I happy with MKD on a MK scale? Yes, extremely. Konquest mode looks tight, tons of fatalities and death traps, cool new character, great redecorations on new ones and it will continue on with the story I love so much.

Am I happy with MKD on a fighting game scale? No, not at all. It looks shallow(again),broken(again) and glitchy(again). From sources I have heard all the gay things that plagued Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance(infinites, back dash cancels, universal tracking and horrible hit detection just to name a few) are back in full force with MK:D. Combo Breakers will be the saving grace for MKD, unless they somehow manage to fuck that up,too.

I agree with the feelings that many seem to be expressing in this thread.

It will be a real nice surprise if MK:D has a major upgrade in all around game quality, along with the fluff that seems to tickle everyone pink. wink

That being said, I think online play is going to kick some serious @ss.

Of course I'm happy with MK Deception so far! I mean, if all that stuff that was in E3 was only 20%, then I'm going to be involved with MK Deception for many, many hours when the complete, 100% version comes out.
