I did think awhile about this and I think both of them will be connected. Quan Chi is the logical source of their connection. I’m hoping their conflict will be something good if they have one.

I believe you’re right in saying that Ashrah won’t know that Sareena betrayed Quan chi. She has after all been travelling around trying to purify herself. An alliance between these two could spell the end of Quan Chi as they will both know many of his secrets.
I love all your theories. Ashrahs turning leading to Sareena own betrayal is something I like the sound of.. And having both Ashrah and Sareena as good guys and having them fight against each other would be great. Nice idea!

I like this theory too. Sareena scheming within the Lin Kuei and excecuting her plans from within a base of good is a great idea! Using Sub-Zero and the other Earth warriors to fight against Quan is also great. She would probably turn on them afterwards.
As for Ashrah, she’d be outnumbered if she came across them, but then Raiden might be able to sense the good intentions within her and her weapon and this could possibly expose Sareena.
Hopefully Sareena will make it as a playable character as rumoured. I would lover her to be playable.

Taking that into account, the differences between her and Sareena are even more astounding. Sareenas look is that of evil whilst Ashrah looks like a good guy. Her purification must alter her evil look and make her look more good.

Seeing how both gals have suffered in the bowels of the Netherealm for a fair while, they can both be considered as the toughest chicks in MK, even tougher than Sonya Anyway, seeing how Ashrah's power is a lot bigger, or at least so it seems to me, a fight between the two would be quickly settled.
And yes, perhaps adding Sareena's soul to the Kriss would complete her transformation into a good entity. Who knows...

You underestimate Sareenas abilities. Ashrahs purification and loss of her demon self could make her weaker in effect. That's just a theory though.

There was one awesome idea of having a deadly tag team of:
Sareena, Kia and Jataaka.
Quan Chis 3 bodyguards.

i rather Sareena on MKD instead of Ashrah she dont do much for me i would like mkd to of continued the sub zero-sareena story line but oh well thats my opinion anyway

No she has not, however she has been heavily rumoured and 'confirmed' by many various sources. We'll have to wait and see if she makes it.

I like them both, so hopefully Sareena will be in MKD. Her story needs to be continued.
