posted10/31/2007 06:35 PM (UTC)byHey guys. I know this is off topic, but I wanted to share this with the guys I've wasted 2 years of my life with. : ) Forgive me Mods. Nothing going on over here, anyway. Be nice!
I just finished this up yesterday, and I think it's my best work by far. It is an hour long mix consisting of various songs from various sub genres of Electronic Dance Music. I wanted to combine various styles, something not done much with a lot of DJs due to difficulty. This is why it's called Audio Visions Volume 1: ECLECTIC..heh.
What makes or breaks a DJ is his transition ability, or in other words, the ability to mix the songs together in a creative and nicely flowing manner. I think I did a pretty good job on this and hope you like some of my ideas. I also scatter some familiar samples throughout the mix from movies, tv shows and even stand up comedy.
Much thanks to my beautiful friend Tina Lao for giving me vocals for the introduction. Her voice is smooth and luscious, and I'm thankful I didn't have to pay anything!
Also much thanks to my cousin for giving me vocals for the outro. You guys should like it very much.
I made a track listing for the mix, but forgot to upload If you guys want I can easily upload it later, but for now I will just put it here.
Ok I'm done blabbing. I'm just very passionate about this stuff. Check it out, even if electronica isn't your thing. I try to accommodate all people with various sounds. My goal here was to not only to show people my mixing but to get them into a genre I love to death.
Thanks in advance yall! Here's the link...
