Australian XBOX mag - MKD release in September???

I was just flicking thru an australian Xbox magazine today, it had a small writeup on MKD being Live enabled etc.. but what i found interesting was that it said, "get ready for release around september" or something like that!?

now i don't see PAL gamers getting this before NTSC, so i'm guessing it's just a typo or someone stuffed up, or they're talking about when they might get to review it, but i thought you might like to know smile

Yeah, must be a typo. Expect it to come out in November.

No, the Webmaster of the German MK Website emailed John Vogel, and he said that MK: Deception WILL come out in Europe/Australia in November.

I heard and I am 99.9% sure that it will come out in Oct. of this year.

I doubt that it will come earlier in another country because games that are made in a country is realesed the earliest in that country.

OK - now this i find really strange!

I was at the newsagent again, and they had this mag called "300 games you must play" (i think its like a special edition XBox mag or something), basically a roundup of recently released & upcoming games.

And in this it also stated Release Date: September 2004. Is it possible that they still are using wrong info or do they know something we don't??

Quite possibly an old press release that was sent to the various gaming media in and around Australia, or maybe a preliminary release schedule released by microsoft for the XBox.

I don't have any contacts in the Aussie gaming media, but I'll do a hunt around and see what I can gather for you.

Here's my opinion

They're telling us it's coming out in October so that they don't have to push the game back, but I feel it is very possible that they will finish the game and release it before then. It has happened, you know.

Don't get your hopes up, though. Expect it in October.

Just a thought :)

The Australian Magazines tend to get news a little late. In PSW they had the leaked render of Baraka last month.

MKD will be released here in America (continent) in October, but maybe Australia will be getting it on Nov, I'm sure europe will not be getting it till Jan ecause of all the transalations needed in Europe.Sorry
