whoa, no bullshit...thats why it was phrased in a question ass ("...and the one on the right too looked like Baraka only he was wearing a black NINJA LIKE outfit with a hood...") I was merely asking if it was baraka and didn't know what else to call it so i called it a "ninja" outfit. If you've seen the picture im talking about youll know its hard to decipher.

The new alternate outfit is definitely inspired by Baraka's MK:A movie look.

And I think that's Noob's alt, because the costume certainly looks a hell of alot like Noob's, and if you remember, his origin is from the Netherealm, so its not impossible to think that he has a demonic looking face.

This is not Baraka. It can easily be told by the outfit and along with the facial features. Look at the Barake SD, and then the other. No. It's NOT baraka. It's Noob Saibot's alt or another new character, without a doubt. You maim your opponent in SD mode as well as any other. the character's face is broken to bone.

I looked at the pic and if you stare at both guys faces it is clear it is two Barakas. Same mouth same teeth same eveything. So basically nothing to debate about.

The secondary character has no nose, seen. The skin color and facial features are different. Because the teeth are the same, means nothing.

Baraka in a black outfit, geez...What an awesome idea, but wait...They just have the same teeth. Aw, but their skin colors are different. So, maybe Hsu Hao is Jax, just...White. Yanno, his alternate outfit. For Christs sake, admitt it's not Baraka. It's quite clear the guy in a black Gi is not him. It matches the same damn one as Noob when he's getting his ass kicked by Ermac in a screen capture.

I wouldn't pay attention to this kid, Ninja_Arts. Just like all other kids his age, he absolutely has to be right. Its a psychological condition most kids have, so I'd just ignore him. And I'm glad there are more people besides me who don't just blindly think that because the faces may look remotely similar, that menas its the same character. Frankly I don't see any similarity between Baraka and Noob in that picture, except for the face that Noob's face is pale.

hold up, lets not be too hasty. First off, i think we can ALL agree that it truly is Baraka on the left hand side of the tetris like mini game picture (outfit, face, teeth). What we can not agree on is the character on the right...is it Noob? is it Baraka? it might be too hard to tell right now.

Does Noob have teeth like that? Is it possible it is Baraka, but the outfit doesn't fit his character? I can't judge on the appearance of skin tone b/c players who pick the same guy tend to differ by both outfit and skin tone (not always tho) And besides, Baraka on the left has a green glo to his face and that can just be lighting in the game coming from somewhere (tetris block, torch, programming not finished).

Where does it say it's Noob Saibot? In fact, where does it say it's not Baraka?
How about this: Compare Shang Tsung's standard MKDA costume with his Alt. They look pretty diferent, almost like two diferent characters if you saw them in chibi. Hairstyle is diferent, the costume is completely diferent...
There are some pretty differing alternate costumes, completely diferent from the standards. Another good example would be Rayden. Or Kung Lao. Or Sub-Zero.
I'm pretty sure this is Baraka. Or maybe, since YOU know what you're talking about (Do you work at Midway or something?), it is Noob Saibot, because of his 'costume', even though it looks nothing like what we've seen from Noob before. And we've seen that Noob's face is either completely black, or a grey skull. Now he has huge Baraka teeth and his skin colour changed drastically? I'd like to know how that works.

Have you even considered it being a new character altogether?

By the way, I apologize for the rumours comment, it wasn't aimed at you. It was aimed at the person who stated as a fact that this character is Noob Saibot.

Bullshit? first of all, look at his arms, if it's baraka then tell me how his blades are supposed to come out? second, have you played MK4/MKgold? then look at his alternate costume where Noob is unmasked you dumb fuck, look at his face and then look at the face on the character who baraka is fighting in the puzzle kombat screen, they look alike, only difference is that in the newer screenshot his face is yellow..

third, the guy in the black costume looks more like a demon or something out of the netherealm, which Noob Saibot is..

And I'm pretty damn sure that the guy in the black costume is Noob Saibot, if you don't believe me then you're gonna feel like an ass when MK6 comes out and see it for yourself. idiot.

Judging from the boots of the character in the Black outfit i'd say that little guy is Noob Saibot.

Compare that picture to the one where Ermac fighting Noob Saibot and look at their boots. Both of those characters in each picture have the same straps and pant legs.

For the person who stated that Noob Saibot could have a demonic face. I agree with you, look at Drahmin's face he was human a long time ago and the Netherealm changed his whole anatomy. Noob Saibot could have had the same done to him. In fact probably hundreds of tortured souls are changed into demonic forms in the Netherealm. We have never seen Noob Saibot's face before either so I think that picture of the little guy is what Noob Saibot looks like under the mask too.

So i'm like 90% sure that Baraka is fighting Noob Saibot in the puzzle game. If anyone could do me a favor, please post both the picture of the puzzle game and Noob Saibot versus Ermac picture and let the people on the forum decide whether or not that little guy could be Noob Saibot.

Looks like Baraka in the black to me. Great costume with that hood over his head if it is.
