If they don't keep the DC characters true to DC, we're going to see a shit storm. So how about we worry about the MK fighters?

They're going to appear in their classic costumes. Hokey, stupid, out of place though they may be, they're going to appear in their classic costumes. This isn't the type of game for "experimental" costumes. This game is about iconic characters in iconic looks.

Batman won't be in his "Begins" Armor at all. Superman, you might get lucky and those will end up being his player 2 colors, but not his player 1 colors.

If they're intending to make this game darker, then we should expect costumes like that plastic figurine. It would be stupid to have a character wearing bright, bright colors in a game that everything around that speicific character is dark.

I highly doubt that bright colors would be shown in this game. I know Mileena is all in pink, but they made it to where it's still dark and not cartoonish.

Which is essentially why this game will similary, be stupid.

They can used the dullest, dingiest, most muted shades of red and blue in the entire rainbow of colors, and at the end of the day, he'll still look like a guy in a stupid red speedo and blue tights.

And make no mistake, it would be stupid to assume Superman won't be wearing his classic costume.

Of course Superman would wear his original costume. So what if all DC characters are wearing tights, why? Do you think it makes all male fighers more girlish if they dare to wear underwear on the outside instead of the inside? Becuase sometimes you can actually tell where the guy's package is located at? (Assuming that I've never actually tried looking, but if he's a cute guy.... HELLO DOLLY!)

It doesn't necessarily mean to dim the colors with a greyish tint, maroon would look better, and it would give Superman a more evil, yet still heroic look.
