I guess the most realistic approach (in terms of his storyline and so) to the way Batman fights, he will most probably use Krav Maga, Judo and eventually Ninjutsu.

Wha...
You're basing that off the trailer footage, right?

I saw some MA in the trailer. Also lots of kickass brawling in a multi-level stage.

Probably Judo or regular Karate.

In my own opinion, I do think that he would have for his first style a blend of Ninjutsu and Judo.
As for second style, Silat and Krav Maga
As for weapons style, I do think a blend of Scorpion, Subby, and Kenshi's sword styles.
I do think that he would use his batarangs like Tanya and Jade's boomrangs
And a Grapple hook similar in use of Jarek and Scorpion's rope technique.
Also He would have grenade attacks similar to Stryker's grenade attacks.
I would Make Batman one of the more agile fighters in the game while keeping his stamina and strenght high.
That above would happen if I was designing Batman for MK.

A sword? No. Didn't he have a staff?
I agree with his hook and stuff. Also have him do various batarangs with various effects, electric, fire, ice. etc.

Robin is the one with the staff. Batman as of Batman Begins used a sword.
Also Batman plays into the Ninja Archtype for DC. That is one of the reason he was paired off with Sub Zero, another Ninja Archtype for MK.

Boons commentzs about the style-based system. If there is, it will be alot more different than MKDA-MKA. At least they would get a mention.

That's actually a good thing....
Every MK game thus far with only one style(martial arts or otherwise) was a lot more playable then the past 2 MK games
On the topic...hmmm Batman has mastered tons of martial art styles, but I remember reading that Bushido was one of his styles since it's one of those styles that teaches right from wrong etc...then there's Ninjitsu as well among others. Batman knows lots lol

Yeah, I know what you mean. Hopefully they'll bring back the usage of martial arts in the future MK games but with an improved fighting system.

Actually, the problem isn't with the usage of actual martial arts but rather the MKDA-MKA fighting system itself and how those martial arts were used in that system. MKDA, MKD, MKA, and MKSM are the only MK games so far to actually use real martial arts styles. Granted, some of the people that mocapped in MK1-MK4 are martial artists, but those games didn't use martial arts styles.
Now about Batman, yeah, he's pretty much more martial arts-oriented. Bushido is definitely not a martial art but rather a code of beliefs that were formalized later in Japanese history, probably around the 18th-19th century or so. It basically draws influences from Confucianism, Buddhism, Shintoism, and I think some other belief systems as well.
Ninjutsu is the correct spelling, because "jitsu" has a different spelling, pronunciation, and meaning. It also has to be understood that Ninjutsu is not "the fighting art of the Ninja" but rather collected methods of stealth, espionage, intelligence gathering, and methods of warfare (both conventional and unconventional). However, Ninjutsu is often equated with the Taijutsu used by Ninja.
But anyway, it would have been cool to have seen Batman use a custom style derived from Judo, Jujutsu, Silat, and "Ninjutsu".
