Honestly...Ill be kinda bummed if there are no SU's...but it's not the end of the world. Anyways Unlockables are what MK is known for and in plenty of Interviews Boon says there will be unlockables that aren't apparent from looking at the character select screen...or the main screen for that matter. Anyways I guess we'll be closer to knowing the truth tommorrow night.
Im expecting there to be alot more than there was in DA..since on many occasions they've said DA was rushed and they didnt get to put all the unlockables (or anything else they wanted) into the final product.
But just in case...I went out and bought DA again...just so I could play as my favorite characters (frost, kung lao, quan chi). I must say Deception is leaps and bounds ahead of DA in almost every aspect.

I will be dissapointed but if there arent any thats ok.

Last time I was pissed. Only becase what we wanted was stuff that would have made the game so much better. Just look at this game. They put all that stuff in that we knew should have been on the last game, and the game is SOOOoo much better. So if there is not I won't be to bumed. The only thing I was bumed over was it Missing Frost and Nitira. Baring that everything else is just right.
The only thing that pisses me off is that they fan the SU flames as much as anybody. They tend to give people the idea there is more. Its probably a deliberate marketing tool. keeps people talking playing and in the end buying more.

If it turns out there are no super unlockables I'll be disappointed because one, they said there were going to be and two, the characters most rumored to be SU's (Sareena, Sektor, Kitana, Quan Chi, Kung Lao, Nitara) are characters I like and would've wanted in the game.
But anyway, I agree. I'll be disppointed, but not so much that I'll start a thread bitching about it. It won't change that this is a good game.

Yeah, if there are no super unlockables, I will be pissed but that is ok... It's just I have already got every characters and already done their fatalities and costumes etc... BUT I know one thing for sure sektor is in because in krypt i unlocked a pic it said smoke and sektor concepts...
Why would they waste time with sektor if they aren't even gonna put him in the game...
True some concepts didn't make it in deception but I have a feeling a lot of people will be happy....

The game is good, no doubt about it. A bit unbalanced and cheesy, but its supposed to be a fun fighting game. I think its better than MK 2 even.
But if there are no super-unlockables, this will be my last MK game. I'm just tired of the false advertising they do with their games to hype features that are not in the game and then finally say they were removed or not implemented at all after the product is out.
And i've said this before, but the fact the MK:DA models are in the game, we've seen movies of other puzzle fighters, and during the demonstration mode when you leave the game idle, you see the DA characters fighting Deception characters. There better be a good reason for this, otherwise is a big shaft from the developers.
I wouldn't say they worked that hard on the game. They did not have to create a new engine, they have recycled fighting styles, the engine itself got very little change. The new game modes were thrown in to make it look like there is alot of kontent. Everything still revolves around the fighting engine in those modes (except puzzle fighter).

I don't care if there are no super unlockables. I would still be happy with the game. The game has 24 characters with alternate costumes, puzzle kombat, chess combat and even online kombat. What more can you ask for? With online kombat, you can meet different people from around the world and make friends. I think that this is a great game, super unlockables or not.
