You guys do know that you could just go back into the main menu and change the difficulty level? That's the only way I beat him, cuz I always play with max difficulty. Trust me, there's no use in just sitting there getting an ass-whooping while you block cuz he'll just gain back life. And also, you know that the character Shujinko changes to when you fight someone can be changed if you Return to Map and fight him again? So if you're having that hard of a time with a character you're not so good at, hopefully it'll change to someone you are good at.

I ma'self took him down with Kira. (Also used her to take down the Kira at the Netherealm portal)
Just alternated, fireball, cannonball, fireball, cannonball. With the occasional throw or fistful of dust when the opportunity came up.

basically what everybody else has said... go back to the map until you have a character that you are best with... i recommend you choose one with a dash move (Nightwolf) and then just milk that beeyotch...

ok peoples i am in a loss for words. i love mk. i really do . but im not all that bright with all these incredible secrets..where do you guys get these tips. i mean seriously..im looking for kang and kira and sindel . but i mean where do i need to go to find out the times and days and dates etc.and this 300 scorpion.. basically what do i need to do to become a fucking true kombatant. because i am jealous of all you guys.."dont want to be the best..just want to compete.."please help also my game tag is "paisa"look me up online and lets play..

there is a "cheesy" method to defeating any of the characters you must fight, including scorpion 300%. i beat him with double flawless.
the trick is being mileena, all the characters have fallen for this "cheese" method.
do her teleport kick, then a grab-throw.....teleport kick, grab-throw.....
ultimate cheese....but i get more flawless victories on these computer fighters throughout konquest. very rare do they retaliate by blocking or something, and if they do....it was a lucky shot, and i suggest to keep trying this method.
the first time i fought scorpion in edenia, i was mileena, i tried to fight him again to milk out more money, but i changed into kenshi, so it might be a random fighter you change into, if so, i suggest keep playing until you change into mileena....then its an easy battle, and i never changed my difficulty, whatever it started on, is what its on now.

I tried doing the Mileena and Nightwolf cheap tricks on him but failed. Finally just beat him as Liu Kang head on O.o;; (couldn't believe it)

I used Sub Zero and kept pressing attack 1, its all about luck though: whether the CPU decides to play stupid or not.

2)use Lava explosion
3)combo
4)repeat

Hi all, newbie here. Just wanted to ask - I'm at Scorpion on Edenia as well and am having a tough time with this. After reading all your replies, I'm confused now - how were you able to choose how Shujinko fights? I'm always stuck with Li Mei because that's the last character style he learned (or actually, the style he taught Li Mei in the slave town in Outworld). I would appreciate it if anyone could share as to how they were able to change styles. Thanks.

Thanks. Well, I think I'll leave Scorpion alone for now then. Trying it with Li Mei is laughable. I try spamming some sword attacks, but Scorp is just too much to handle right now

Li Mei is one of the better ones to beat him with actually.
The FF+Y(xbox) special move works very well. Just repeat over and over.
