Ben/Kobra's weapon might not be Kali Sticks (look closely)

In the picture of Li Mei fighting Ben/Kobra, those might not actually be Kali Sticks like most people think because if you look closely there is a horizontal piece sticking out from the stick right above his hand.

yea i noticed this the other day. I does look like a sort of nightstick variation. Im pretty sure thats what it is, but it could just be that picture too. We'll have to get a few more pictures to verify this one im sure.

Perhaps they're tonfas(traditional). Not the supped up kind Jax had in MKDA.

I noticed that the day the pics came out and posted it in some thread. its pretty easy to see that he has a type of tonfa except the way he is holding it is strange. he isnt holding it like a tonfa which led to the thoughts that it was a kali stick. also the bamboo look let people suspect that. but im sure that they arent kali sticks because he isnt using two hands...his other one is hidden behind his body.

I've seen both Kali Sticks and Tonfa in real life, and since I have never seen tonfa held that way before, I am 98% sure that they are Kali Sticks.

Hmm...Kali Sticks? Longer Blonde Hair? Ben is looking more and more like a male version of Sonya... grin

Well, I think they are not Kali, but if they are, this guy is lucky. Those sticks were deadly in MKDA!

LMAO maybe Midway is pulling our leg and this guy is actually Sonya's resurrected twin brother. ;x That would be cool, actually. The more I think about it, the more he is looking like a male version of her. I agree to whomever said that.

If that is Stryker ,he looks even worse! Thanks alot you guys. But that would explain why his name is so secretive ,with all the controversy around Stryker. Ugh! Damn you if it is!
