its a possibility. rain was considered a traitor and was ordered by kitanna to redeem himself by killing kahn in mk trilogy. ever since then, rain has not been heard of. its possible rain will reveal himself to finally redeem himself by saving that bitch...

I agree. I don't like how people that were under Kahn's control, pretty much all turned good. Ermac, Sindel, and if Rain did I would be quite angry.

It's possible. I like the idea. In fact I like it A LOT.

Rain goes to see kitana, not knowing that its mileena pretending to be kitana and that kitana is imprisoned (duh). Mileena tells him that Raiden has betrayed and deceived Earth's forces. But the good guys have a chance. baraka hears the whole thing but isn't able to warn Rain. rain sets off to confront raiden and baraka follows with his hands full. he has to stop mileena and get to raiden before rain does. if he fails there's sure to be some thunder and lightning in the futures forcast.

Baraka could be good. That could be the deceiption.

Plus we got Millena and Baraka fighting each other in the bettle stage in this one video.

We got to see Baraka's bio in order to explain why they are fighting.

Kitana has alot of friends. Rain is not a very popular chracter. I would have to say out until proven in. Chances of this happening is very very slim. Your logic is fundamentally flawed.
There is a 100% chance Raiden is in the game. Look on IGN.
As of now, there is a 0% chance Rain is in the game.

We have plenty of the male colour swapped ninjas, even if they all have new looks. Ermac, Noob, Smoke, Sub Zero and Scorpion are enough for me thanks.

I think Rain could very well return. Here's a bio I write for him before they released these bios.

Rain:

Rain had been serving in the palace of Queen Sindel since Shao Kahn had been defeated. He had been helping train the palace guards and was now awaiting the next chance to enter battle. Recently, he had been having nightmares and visions of his former masters return. Rain had the suspicion that Shao Kahn was still alive. With the news of the Dragon Kings return, it would seem now was the time to leave. Princess Kitana had been kidnapped. Queen Sindel had left strict orders for the armies of Edenia to be prepared for any sort of invasion or to come to her aid if needed. Rain assisted in this task and then set off after his Queen. Along the way, he would find out if his former master was still alive.
