Seeing as Kano and Kabal were the only two characters out of the entire Red and Black Dragon Lineups I liked, I'd say Black Dragon would win.

Red Dragon is the shit, so calm and collected yet dangerous. The champions of Battle of the century in my opinion

I don't think that storyline is gonna happen...it seems at this point that Mavado has already won. The Black Dragon was pretty much already wiped out by MK4. If they had started a story like this in an earlier game it could've worked but now I think the Red Dragon is going to take the spotlight. Too bad...Kano is one of my favorites.

There would be no battle between the Red Dragon against the Black Dragon because the Black Dragon is dead.

Due to Sonya and Jax's work from the previous Mortal Kombat's they took out many members that served the clan. Kabal quit the clan but due to him being associated with them in the past, Mavado tracked him down and killed him.

The last loyal member was Jarek, who was captured himself and turned on Sonya. He was killed and that's when the Black Dragon died out.

Kano ditched the Black Dragon during his time in Outworld. After being a prisoner of Shao Kahn, Kano decided to leave that clan on hold and served Shao Kahn for his life to be spared. You also have to remember Kano never returned to Earth since the first Mortal Kombat. Kano could have intentions of starting back the clan but he is the only man left and has no allies that we know of anymore.

If anything, it would a special group from the U.S government led by Sonya who would go into Outworld again and take out the Red Dragon who set up a new location there. Also, Quan Chi did give Mavado information of the Lin Kuei and that could start a clan war there. I'd keep my eyes open on this situation during the next Mortal Kombat because it seems like anything could happen at this point.

Well if they both had full clans as in before Black Dragon was wiped out. I'd say Black Dragon wins. I mean it took both Red Dragon and Special Forces to take them down. But I hope that they change Red Dragons name. It's to much of a rip off of Black Dragon as it is without there name being nearly identical.

Well your half right. If they had full clans the Red Dragon would destroy the black dragon. The only reason the Red Dragon USED the special force was so that they wouldn't have to expose themselves as a potential threat. And to Clearify, although the RD's first showing is in MK:DA, in the storyline they came before the BD. The BD is the "rip off" of the Red Dragon, the original clan

Given the characters, I'd say the Red Dragon would win. Mavado himself his highly skilled and disciplined and I'm sure many of the other Red Dragon warriors will be the same. Kano is a thug with no discipline at all. He's a coward. Kabal can hold his own in afight but ahs lost to Mavado and Jarek is just plain weak.

Kano vs RD....hmmmmmmm......Kano. He would beat the shit outta everyone and then outta no where Kabal comes back just to kill mavado, he also brings the thought to be dead man, Jarek, apperently when he fell of the cliff he holded on a rock to keep him alive. Kabal killed Mavado with his own hookswords and took em back! Jarek then killed the fo shizzle out of Hsu Hao. The 3 memebers then started killing everyone. THey defeated the Red Dragon. Kano went up to Kabal and said " I knew youd come back, mate" Kabal pissed of looked at Kano and with his hookswords cut off Kano head in a sec. Jarek, terrified had suffered the same faith to Kabal.
