I agree. He shouldn't be in place of one of the classics or better characters. I think he'd be a returning character from DA character since it was his debut after all and he was playable.

It is very unlikely that he'll be central, but he could still be playable. As you said he will be appearing in Konquest, so hopefully we will learn of his uest there.
