We know that MK will never be at the level of Virtua Fighter. This I don't care about because I do not want to spend months learning only one character.
But, two things will make this game a hell of alot better.
1)Implement a way to break or reverse throws
Too many people rely on throws. Why learn a character when you can just learn the cheesy 50/50 mixup for one character? Why bother any character special moves then?
2)Implement offensive "get up" moves
This would stop people from walking up to someone who just got knocked down to use said 50/50 game constantly.
These two simple things would make the game alot better.

Actually, I like MK way more than Virtua Fighter. I just wish that Boon & Co would spend a little more time on the engine.

MK is actually better than VF. But the thing that bothers me in MKDA+MKD is that they have all these styles that don't have the real moves, like all the karate styles in MK, shorinj-ryu, shotokan etc... didn't they even say that the moves are real?confused

erm I have no idea where all you random fighting game n00bs got your twisted ideas from, but if you're comparing fighting games then MK is no-where near the quality of VF.
Remembering that fatalities, story, how the characters look, mini-games, and how much you can unlock mean crap-all when you're comparing fighting games.

FLSTYLE it's just an opinion, and mine is that Virtua Fighter isn't as good as MK, one reason is the story. I'm not saying that MK games are the greatest games ever, since Tekken is.wink

shutup special blend!!! U SUCK! were having fun. Besides growing up is no fun I like to say " I get older, I dont grow up"! Back on topic 2 things that could make this game better is A. Better fatalities/ Boon should hire me to work on them and B. The game play could be a little faster.

2.The speed in mk,I personally find it fine.But sometimes I feel it could be faster.

actually it took the Mk developement team a little more than two weeks too come up with all the fatalities rabid @#$% sucker!!!! I could definetley do it but unlike you I have a litte more of a life than you. People have to work you know. Your request is simple. well, ok , i have all VF and all Mk and i can compare.
ah, like it was sead, vf gets SOOOOOOOboaring after a while, when u cant get bored with deception. yes, vf has better graphic engine, and some other things as well, but when it comes to the core gameplay, mkd is FAR better, far more interesting, and far more brutal furious
