Maybe his Deception is telling us there's only 24.
now he say's there's more but he dosen't give a number.
Would if the character select screen could flip over and give us 24 more fighters. Bringing our total to 48 that would almost be everyone except a cupple of fill in's.

Many times plans change in the creation of a game. They may have been planning only 24, but due to popular demand or changes in developement they decided to add some more. Hey, its better than getting fewer characters than first promised.

The sites been running terriblibly since E3 started, with all the people logging on.

Back to topic, I'm pretty certain this games going to have quite a few unlockable characters, probably just returning characters though.

If there are any new hidden fighters I'd really like 2 see a water god (they could do a lot with him/her)!
