Ok guys, I havent heard anyone mention this so here it goes............I was in the netherealm,,,,,,,,,,11.03.47.........F2-3 area,,,,,the computer said to fight Kabal to awaken KOCHAL?????? it makes you fight KIRA and KOBRA in the same area,,,,,,,,,,,,after that a portal opens and takes you back to the stage portal of the netherealm,,,,,,,,,,there was the usual black and gold chest and i got 1000 onyx coins............................???????????maybe you have to awaken this KOCHAL???character? by fighting unfair and i mean some unfair ass shit.........3 hit 116% damage combos against kobra....but i got the 1000 coins so something is up with this..........anyone done this yet???

As of now everyone thinks Kochal is just the portal but I think its stupid to name a portal???? maybe theres some way to make this portal go someplace else like after fighting them you do a different order of fighting them???? ANSWER ME THIS! What is this kodex thing? Is it "Kode index"

anyway, what are these clues, where are they coming from, what are the codes?

do they clues go to the codes? How are you guys deciphering them? What do you use to decipher them.

I cant understand why people post things if you cant fully explain them (no offense)

Actually thegamefaqs and gamespot forums are one and the same.

The kombat kodex was in the back of the strategy guide. So far we know that there are going to be 20 kodes of which we are up to 12. The klues we assume there will be 36, 26 for the alphabet and 10 for the numbers. Someone noticed that the klues hinted at either the letters or numbers and so when the kode comes in you use the corresponding number or letter that goes with the klue number.

Come on guys seriously.

I know you don't want to read 21 pages of posts but read the first half at least. That will answer all your questions so you don't just get ignored all the time or flamed by the others.

For one it is really annoying to see the same questioning posts over and over when people have worked so hard to come up with 21 RELEVANT pages of info.

In this last 1, someone noticed that all of the 4 # kodes ended in 01,02,03,04,05 and figured that the klue #s next to them made five words. So for instance the first word is 27,16,34,29,07,33 or L,I,Z,A,R,D. And so forth for the other 4 words.

You and me both but there are people here that are pretty dang smart that have got this stuff down pat. I don't me to be just trolling and piggy backing off their success but since I have nothing that I can help them with right now I am just reading and biding my time until I can help them...

Once again, it has never been stated that these kodes will end up unlocking anything, it is just certain people jumping to conclusions. All we know is that they require the kodex to solve. No goal has ever be stated, so there can be no "wild goose chase" since we are not chasing anything.

about that kode "stryker on the clouds zz" or something like that, I have seen
this text on the mk menu.It isnt exactly on the menu it is one of the menus like the content or options or one of those.on the top there are some clouds that if you look closely you can see some words passing by, such as ,Deception,Netherreal,orderrealm.
If you look for a while the stryker word passes by.It kind of makes sense because the word passes on the clouds and mybe the zz stounds for sleeping or snorring.

First off, I'm going to shoot myself in the foot if I hear this again...haha


Second, the "Stryker on Cloud ZZ" was a clue, not a code. The clues have nothing really to do with the game itself. They are there for us to figure out what letter of the kodex to use when decifering(sp?) the codes. The Stryker and Fujin in the sky are more of a Teaser then anything real.

Dude I left a nice detailed tutorial on page 20 of this thread that explains everything... please I don't want to hear .. WTF IS ALL THIS anymore... please.

Has anyone tried putting in any button code from what has been found once the system started and came to the profiles. all you can do is press start , but you can hear the other buttons make noises.

Also, In Shujinkos ending it said he destoyed all the Kamidogu, then defeated the Dragon King. maybe you are supposed to destroy the kamidogu in order that you got them.(or reverse order) I don't rember which one was from which realm.
