hey everyone. i just wanted to post some of my ideas for character types,races, and appearances. i wont go too in depth on what they wear and stuff tho.
1. a teenage shokan character...teenage meaning making him/her smaller in size compared to goro and so on.
2. a new female cyborg
3. they had an actor as a character...why not a painted faced rock star that looks like a member of kiss from hell.
4. a cyborg version of reptile in his lizard form (not really a new character but i like this idea)
5. a dragon man character like from konquest in mka
6. a werewolf type character that morphs into wolf form for finishers and special moves
7. a female version of onaga
8. an evil clown or jester...not as a joke character either.
9: a witch doctor or shaman type character
10. a claymore weilding crazy man like a braveheart...or should i say barbarian type character
11. a male vampire
12. a big fat buddah guy or sumo fighter
13. a humanoid insect character like a manscorpion as a boss or sub boss
14. a hooded sexy female assasin looking character...in tight black spandex with a small back pack and grappling hook...maybe a dagger strapped to her leg
15. a bounty hunter with a shotgun
16. an everyday teenager...have him have the storyline like he is always told he was too young to fight and he wants to prove that he can do it despite his age kinda deal.
17. a martial arts teacher/master to go along with the idea above...you know a karate kid kinda deal lol
18. an all white suited type ninja...similar to the one seen in that chuck norris movie sidekicks
19. an serious alien type character...serious as like the predator
20. A female dancer type character...not caporeira,more like ninja stripper from hell lol
21. an undercover news reporter type character...he/she wants to uncover the tournaments for the big story

I don't know, pretty much everything you listed is not new at all: shokans, cyborgs, a wolf animality, we have seen all this.

It's the same, but different versions.

Whether it be female version, teenage version, etc.

The last thing we need are characters that rip off other characters. This would increase the number of characters for no reason.

sorry if my ideas dont fall to you peoples expectations...im just trying to see older character races in a new way. as for a few of them characters i posted such as the werewolf or the rock star they are pretty new. there is a difference between a wolf and a werewolf but in anycase i dont wish to get anyones opinion on the characters...i wanted people to post there own ideas.

so feel free to post charcter races,types,changes or anything else having to do with characters.if you have pics please post aswell.

I Really want an ex-convict type of character. A gritty, nasty, ultraviolent mofo that doesn't care about any life around him. Not even his own.

Not Kano. He is pretty close to what I'm referring to though. A mass murderer type of guy. Think John Wayne Gacy in his prime. Orange jump suit, broken hand cuffs and shackels around his wrists and ankles respectively. Unshaven. Long hair over his face. Stands about 6'4" and weighs in at about 265 lbs. Someone who looks like they spent alot of time in the prison weight room. A Prison escapee.

Still sounds like Kano.Other than that I don't really like the idea.How would the escaped convict run into the MK tournament and if he had any martial arts skill how did they catch him?If they caught him he wouldn't be able to go up against any character without getting his ass kicked by somebody.

I would like to see a costume appearance for scorpion were his forearms are on fire and he has the ability to shoot fire and throw his spear. The same for his sword. (Similar to Sub-Zero).

I hope they bring back Reptiles' human ninja form. That was my favorite version of reptile.

I would also like to see Tremor (ninja) as a playable character in MK8. That would really top things off.

Make MK8 a full blown Konquest adventure at least 8 hrs. long and each character has their own konquest and have a KO-OP konquest mode with the ability to pick all characters and have a custom team attack fatality. (Online with 12 to 16 characters in a konquest party).

It would be nice in the konquest if each character could use their own weapon that is on their back or sides by pressing a button on the controler going from that to a regular fighting style. (Do away with arcade style enemy counter and make it similar to Shaolin Monks.) It makes the game more realistic.

Bring back an updated better version of Motor Kombat for high speed fun.

Here are my ideas.....

A Japanese female-
A New Cyborg-(female;ninja or non-ninja)
A Female Zetterian-(no ninja look)

It's all I can think of!

1- a werewolf character
2- a jason or hanchet alike character who is slow but really powerful and don't care about his life ,he just wants revenge.
3- a triple HHH type character who can wrestle
4 - a character who can control the element of earth
5- a character who knows tae kwon do
6- scorpion's son
7- a heavily armed character with knife,many guns,granades wearing military uniform.
8- a crazy doctor character that is really dangerous and like surgeries
9- a deadly sexy female character.
10- a character with animal fighting style (monkey,tiger,snake)
11- a character that doesn't know martial arts and fights dirty.He makes people laugh cause of his clever dirty moves. He fights to survive. He joined mk by accident.
12 - a character that he's using the enviroment as a weapon he is using anything, chairs, tables, stones, wires, broken glasses, dust everything.
13- a modern character who uses dance as his fighting style (kapoera)
14- a giant with two heads as a sub-boss

great ideas guys...keep em' coming. the bat idea is cool...reminds me of a part in the movie the league of extraordinary gentlemen. raptora...i think a wrestler would be a interesting character for mk...maybe even a masked one.

i edited my first post with a few additions. come back time to time and see what i come up with.

It may sound kinda weird, but a character similar to Altair of Assassin's Creed.
Maybe the fan-made blue cyborg Hydro?
Tremor would be sweet.
An army General, kinda like a male Sonya but he's more headstrong and disciplined.
The idea of a half-human half insect sub-boss would be great!
Lastly, a barbarian type character with a huge sword.

Ok. It's nice that you absolutely hate my idea. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. But let me ask you this: Does Stryker have any martial arts ability? How was anybody caught by Shao Kahns extermination squads if they know martial arts. I'll tell you how. Martial arts are not the be-all end-all of a badass. You can know every single martial art in the world and still get caught. And who said that he didn't know any martial art? Certainly not me. Maybe he knows something maybe he doesn't. And Kano wasn't an escaped convict .... he's pretty much a terrorist. Never really caught. Let's hear your ideas Cyber_EV1L.

1.An elemental character kind of like smoke.The character can teleport from one place to another by turning into to something like vapor or water or smoke.

2.A character who doesn't care about anyone ,but himself.He fights for pride and enters the MK tournament for respect.(His family would be dead and he won't be out there for 'revenge')

3.A hybrid character.Half Human ,Half Dragon.A character from the Red Dragon.

4.A duo team.One is a man who had trained in the art of fighting for many years while the other is a laid back relaxed guy who is athletic and stubborn.

5.An assasin who travels alone and stays in the shadows.

first character ROCKET SIMonS i would like is a roided out baseball player with a catchers mask and a explosive bat and rapid fire fast ball a deadly suicide spikeattack slide. Size 6'6 300lbs ripped musle super agressive temperment. Make him a ninja of sorts. Finisher a homerun swing thats spatters ooponent against the sceen or background. Second character Jaguar Rolle Mma fighter using the fighting style capoeira and BJJ,muay tai ,sambo. weapons three peice nunchakus or sansetsukon. He would be a combination of Rampage Jackson and Bob Sapp. size 6'6 320 riped musle bound and a very destructive nature. Finisher jaguar clinch a rolling choke similar to the anaconda choke that sqeezes the opponents head off and squeezes the insides out into a pool of blood and guts .

See here's the thing:

1. Why make another Shokan character when you have three already?

2. We have 3 Cyborgs, a female version is not neccessary

3. Johnny Cage is an actor, we don't need another one

4. A Reptile version of a cyborg is pointless

5. No Dragons

6.Nightwolf has the ability to morph himself into a wolf, even though it wasn't a show in MKD/A

7.Why make a female Onaga?

8. No more comedian characters.

9. The only one on the list that hasn't happened yet already

11. Barbarians are not with the whole Chinese/Japanese style.

12. Bo' Rai Cho will probably be the only fat guy MK has to see

13. No insects

14. Sareena is your assassin

15. Bounty Hunters are lame

The fact that your characters that you want to make a show on the next MK game has already happened. The only one on your list that hasn't happened yet is a witch doctor... Unless your thinking of Dhalsim, then it's not an original idea... and I'm not being mean here or anything like that, but your ideas have already happened and will be kind of lame to see MK add more characters of the same kind and make more people mad.

that sounded... angry. An there are 3 Shokan characters in the MK universe, not 2 :P

Anyway, I would love to see a Tarkata-Shokan hybrid or a Tarkata-Zatteria hybrid (or perhaps a Shokan-Zatteria hybrid). Another thing that I think would make a great new character (since MK8 is going to be darker/grittier) would be a big boss character formed of hate, death, and darkness caused by the end results of Armageddon (a super angry version of Noob perhaps?) with extreme powers relating to darkness and black flame.

I would also like to see a newer, more.... hateful version of Scorpion that has his MK4 Fatality again...(yea, I know that that wouldnt be new, but we all know that Scorpioin is gonna be in the next one)

Anyways.. with me clearing up some things, I forogt to mention what characters we should see:

A character that can heal themselves like a priest... hmm

A character that can summon either a demon/clone/shadow or something for three seconds that can help like a Necromancer

sub-frost...i didnt want to hear your opinions on my character thoughts and ideas. i stated this before that i only wanted to hear ideas not what you think of my ideas or anyone elses.

and if you dont want or mean to be harsh than try actually stating things pleasantly. nobody likes theres ideas shot down. oh and ya kinda missed one...number 11.

I wasn't shutting down your ideas, I was telling you that something like that already happened. I don't care if I missed one. But it was kind of funny for the fact that your ideas already happened and they're not new. I was only stating that out... and how was I being harsh on you? That's kind of hard to know when computers don't show emtions and not to mention that I did stated that I wasn't being rude.

And for the fact that I did mention new character ideas. I just didn't want to post them in the first post I made otherwise it would have been a long list.

And the fact that MK doesn't need another vampire as well because a female version is fine. I guess you're into the whole sex swapping ideas. I'm surprised that you didn't even say a female version of Scorpion.

I'm not bringing your ideas down and I'm sorry for the confusion, but the only thing is that I was only implying to the fact that your ideas already happened.
