This was his trademark move in the original games. It would be cool if they brought it back in Deception...

hell yeah, that was cool. I still know the first fight I saw in the arcade's of MKII. Raiden fighting Reptile at the portal stage. But he was invisible the first time I saw it, so I was "What the ....?!!! Who is he fighting? I don't see anyone"
I think in the 3d version, it would have more advantage, as you can sidestep and have less of a chance being hit, so you don't lose your invisibility.
But is Reptile still playable in Deception. Well, if he isn't, then they should give it to someone else.

Yea i can remember confusing my opponents were i was using reptile's invisibility...those were the days. I guess it wud be really hard to make him invisible while deception is a 3D game with side stepping, ow well.

It would be cool if they gave him a Predator like stealth move, no exactly completely invisible but stealthy.

and if they add it they should make it so the screen/character doesnt follow the invisible character so that you can sidestep w/o you opponent knowing where you are. im mkII, if you jumped over the oponent while invisible, the oponnent would turn around as if he saw you. this kinda gives away where you are.

MKDA: Reptile did get sucked into the egg, so we have no idea.
